  1. It’s also a great place to sell golf kit. I’ve gotten really good money from selling my used clubs. I’ve found I get the best price on FB.
  2. This was an interesting video. Particularly interesting for those on the + side of 35.
  3. Here you come and messing this thread up with logic.
  4. So I rode past the start on the day. They start and finish was on either side of the road. Thus taking up the cycling lanes and probably 1/3 of each traffic lane. This is effectively a single lane road. All this created a narrow corridor which had to accommodate two ways traffic and the high number of recreational cyclists. It was a bit nerve wrecking squeezing between traffic, bicycles and competitors in this area.
  5. The thread actually explained that last year was pretty decent.
  6. My new bike finally arrived after months of waiting. Titan Racing Valerian Carbon Team.
  7. I’ve been cycling for just over a year and the cycling environment still fascinates me. Many people are complaining about bicycle prices and here’s a local company producing products of great value with top end parts at a great price. Then we manage to find ways of criticizing it. Cyclists are weird beings. As someone who entered the cycling market without any preconceived notions I evaluated all options without bias. I can truly say “all in” Titan Racing provides, on balance, the best new products out there.
  8. Over the last few months I’ve managed to drop 5kg with just eating clean. In the beginning I neglected fueling my cycling workouts and suffered with performance losses. I addressed those concerns and managed to raise FTP and lose body fat. Simple rule, don’t diet on the bike. The rest of day should be dedicated to this.
  9. My ***. I learnt something. Thanks for sharing what info is available. Some reading to do tonight.
  10. Wasn’t feeling too great this morning. And on one of the many stops I decided the scenery was nice.
  11. Shouldn’t it be based on a rider’s ability? Or would you suggest this for a 200 FTP person who’s 120kg also?
  12. @Lukas Ferreira do you know your w/kg? I watched a YouTube video a while ago and the discussion said under 4w/kg a 32 will probably be most beneficial.
  13. This one from Mellow Velo. They ordered it about three months ago already. I don’t have a price yet. So it’s going to be surprise time when the call comes.
  14. I’m waiting for my call to collect mine any day now. It was vain but it’s to go with the Carbon Team MTB. 🫣 Needless to say, I’m super excited.
  15. The exporter should just (normally do if exported) use the correct HS codes. These are universal and is how customs easily identify which duties to charge.
  16. Well done! Go tubeless. Since I done it, (touch wood) not a single one.
  17. I did mention I’m not a smart guy 😬
  18. I’m not a smart guy but that wind was from the front the entire race.
  19. This was my first 947 and I managed a 3:07. F.me there’s a lot of climbing after Monte. Next year the plan is to be less fat and crack the 3hr mark. Well done to the organizers!
  20. Since switching from Zwift to Trainerroad my performance in every sphere of cycling has improved. I’m very happy with my switch. My wife also moved and her FTP is up.
  21. @Titan Racing Bikes When’s the expected arrival dates on the new road bikes?
  22. From recent experience I can maybe just give some (anecdotal) advice. I moved my cleats back in my shoes 1mm. My left ITB nearly killed me for a week. I went to massages and physio. Moved the cleats back to their original position, two days of rest and I’m back to 99% efficiency. My theory is. On a 3 hour ride you roughly rotate the same joint 15000 times. That 1mm, probably not even less will feel the difference.
