12kg full suspension with the option of lockout and with all the gears vs. 10kg solid rigid bike with limited gears... Seems like a no brainer. Just loose the 2kgs elsewhere (boep) and you're even on weight, but winning EVERYWHERE else.
What the heck is everyone doing that they have to spend thousands of Rands after a single ride? Mountain bikes should be made to handle a bit of mud...
PPA NOTES Good news: Although the weather forecast is predicting rain in Cape Town on Saturday, they are not expecting rain in Wolseley. Most of the muddy routes have been cut out this year and the new routes are well drained. Dress warmly and you will be treated to exciting new trails, some of them in Cape Nature territory.

Once upon a time, when the trees were tall and the single track flowed, the bridal path was my favourite piece of single track in the world.
