Hi KevinV, before you buy, compare the price with Cyclefactory in Montague Gardens. www.cyclefactory.co.za The Silverback wharehouse is around the block from them unfortunetaly they don't sell directly to the public. (I have tried my luck). Cyclefactory seems to have to best prices on Silverback bikes and great service too. Ask for Kyle.

I don't know if the 0.5% hike was a smart move? If the rand weakens to the dollar it will affect the petrol and food prices, might affect the poor more than another 0.5% hike. SA does more imports than exports. Let's hope the rand holds up.

Hi is there any difference between an Anthem S and Anthem 1 frame except for the rear shock? (maestro vs RP23) es The Anthem S seems like better value for money as you get the whole bike fore less than the Anthem 1 frame. Can sell the parts on my old bike and will have enough money to buy RP23 shock? I sold my first Garmin after a year, I was fed up with the battery life and bad signal. Bought a Polar 725x instead. I've order a 51 channel GPS logger from bidorbuy to do my mapping, even the edge 705 only has 12 channels. You need some magic fingers. Spin in High Cad, get someone else to calibrate while you are spinning on the bike.

Saw some usb charger that uses penlights at Hifi Corruption alias Corporation. Think it takes 4 penlights, should give you arround 2300 mah at 5v, if you use rechargle batteries. The kit was round about R180 bucks. Not sure about the quality..

Hi CAADman, used the same method, but my Chain cleaning gadget broke. Willie Engelbrecht's salesman told me the Parrifin was too strong for the plastic chain cleaner tried to sell my a bottle of Citrus cleaner for R120 odd bucks.
