Might be able to join you on Wednesday, but probably not. Fell a numer of times on Monday, feeling a bit tender. Just check the webbie for Geoff's email/ cell. When we got there yesterday the doors were locked. they will come and open for you, but it will save time if you phone in advance

Chilli, I'm hinting rather strongly for my family to buy me a place in Geoff's beginner skills clinic on the 31st December. Why don't you come and join me? I'm sure there will be lots of good advice?

After the first round, we added another loop before breakfast. How on earth did I get ahead again? Oh ja, every time Daemon pulled ahead, I'd change the route on him!! I'm not sure who's idea it was, but Flash, Daemon, Dirt Rider and Sonic decided to see how far they could cycle IN the river!!

Hi all, just got back for a quick trip to Lodwood with Mintsauce. I left him there with the Schwinn, had to get back to work (sigh). here are the rest of the pics...

The day dawned cloudy and overcast and miserable with a bit of rain. But a bit of rain never stopped anyone, and we had 12 riders arrive for a day of fun. Mintsauce got a bit lost on his first outing in Jhb, but we quickly set him straight and by 9am we hit the road. We rode the same route as the 24 hour, here is IanJ's friend Dave coming off the new singletrack Ah, the loooong uphill. Here is Chilli Pepper pulling ahead of me (I put it down to riding with one hand and taking photos with the other!)

Yup that was a rather close call! You can all see that I was quite a distance from the race line, but Flash had some other ideas! I took the photo, lowered the camera, and looked up to see Flash close enough for me to see the whites of his eyes! I only reacted and moved once he was past! In Flash's defense, he says bikes don't turn well in midair! Hehe! Pics of the day to follow:

Sounds like Internet is alive and well in Sabie! Awesome to hear from all you folks. Ride hard but ride safe, and bring back all the war tales!

Yup bike is the most NB! Chairs will help, orange juice and tea coffee will be provided. Oh yes, and a gate pass, can be purchased from SA trails just up the road, or organise to bum a R6 ticket off a friend...

Looks like we have about 16 riders and 3 extras for breakfast. Looking forward to a great day out!
