Amazingly it never crossed my mind! To give the context: I rode 95km on Botswana sand on day one, took a big tumble about 20km in (the bruising and grazing on my forearm), and this photo was taken at kilometre 70 plus of day two with the finish line nearly in sight! In hindsight, those rhino sure were close!

Ok, so it's mildly concerning that my hubbie, a non-rider, hangs out more at my LBS than I do. I'm using jellytot from TheHub. She is not based in Jhb, but in CT. However I have found that we work very well together. We chat over email, and she has made her cell number available to me to phone/ SMS. She provides a weekly program, and you send her your Polar files for each exercise. I have enjoyed that she is adaptable. As you know, it's impossible to stick to a program 100%, and when you deviate, she will adjust the program to get you back on track.
