  1. Ag you know, I don't have any specific preferences when it comes to Fox vs RS. I've had some good and bad experiences with both over the past 10 years or so. The Monarch Plus actually gets better reviews than the Fox DHX air. The DHX is apparently very difficult to dial in 100%, so I'm leaning towards RS on this one. But ja, still not convinced that I actually need the bigger can.

Yup. A lot of guys (including me) would like to do more aggressive trail stuff, but don't necessarily want do full on DH racing. Something like this could fill that gap nicely.
  3. Kraai jy nog happy met jou Monarch?
  4. Changed my Zula from 100mm to 120mm upfront and loving it. Not really a massive weight penalty and a lot smoother. Just check whether the frame warranty doesn't get voided if you upgrade to a longer travel fork.
  5. Ha ha! Nah, I got a Zula 6 months ago for xc, so the Tracer, I'm gradually building up as the AM beast it's supposed to be.
  6. Gents, after 2 years of riding with a RP23 on my Tracer, I'm thinking of upgrading to one of these oukies. Is it a worthwhile investment or a waste of money? Over to you.
  7. Er...not sure Cap. But does it matter? I mean just look at it...
  8. Good afternoon satan.
  9. Ugh... another one lost to the darkside....
  10. Yup, I have a 2012 Xar. Cool lid. Fits well. Maybe a bit hotter than my Bell Sweep, but that's because the Xar has more protection I guess (being an AM lid).
  11. Sheesh that orange Intense with the matching Enve's is just rediculously hot.
  12. Er ....no. what do they say... that Patches suddenly supports Hup Holland?
  13. Perhaps a bit more to your liking dear Sir?
  14. Maybe shove that thing up our government's arse and see if we can get some reaction.
  15. That's a big bomb.
  16. A dude taller than 6 foot 5?

  19. Ha ha! Cap, we could end up being the only people with "normal" sized wheels in about a year from now. That will probably make my Tracer even more valueable, as it'll become a "classic" bike very quickly.

Yup. If Santa Cruz can do it, then so can Intense I guess. These plastic bikes are nice, but I must say those perfectly welded alu frames are still just the best.

Ja they are nice.....but perhaps not...urm, Intense enough....

Ha ha! I'm thinking the next plastic bike from Intense will probably be a carbon version of the Uzzi. That could be pretty interesting.

Otherwise the Tracer 2? Not as light as the Carbine though. I think there's about half a kilo difference in weight. But that shouldn't be an issue for a DH'r.
