  1. I don't have that problem. Once you own an Intense you know all other bikes will be kakker.
  2. Well maybe that's why they invented these extended glass windscreens/glass roofs for cars. Then at least you can see whether your bike is actually still attached to the roof rack.
  3. For vark stakes JB, get a move on already. I'm getting cold.
  4. Please crank it up in a knotch gents. Stop this sparring crap. Get a few good shots in.
  5. Surely not? Must be their biggest selling bike by miles? Anyway, I've got mine, so don't really care.
  6. I luv mavic wheels. Great styling and very tough. Have ridden them for the last 7 years and not one broken spoke or dented/buckled rim during this time. The only thing is their rear hubs require regular maintenance i.e. if you ride a lot, you will probably have to open up the hub once every quarter to clean it. But they're very easy to work on. I say go with the Crosstrails.
  7. Bought my Intense from Recycles in Bellville.
  8. Chris, vra die klient om volgende naweek saam met ons Jonkers se downhill section af te ry op hierdie outjie. Ek sal solank die tweezer reghou om die carbon stukkies uit sy hol te trek!
  9. Someone probably stole his golf sticks
  10. I receive inspiration every Sunday morning when I ride into Jonkershoek forest and after a few seconds between the trees, the only thing you can hear is your heart beat and the wind in the branches. Who needs a church building when we've got nature.
  11. Nope, I just checked... my balls are too small for that.
  12. Ja well, no fine, then I make up for these okes, because I have a very intimate relationship with my granny (er, ok...that didn't come out right).
  13. Then stop being a pissie and get a 1x10.
  14. Well ja, I have to agree with you Enron, er sorry Eldron. I've ridden 2 x 10 on my Zula for the past 6 months and it sucks balls. Much harder going uphill and too soon out of gears going down. Going back to 3 chainrings as soon as I have some spare mula.
  15. Hmmm... I've met Crow and he seems like a DH'r at heart. Me thinks the LTC (although a super trail bike) will be slightly too "flimsy" for his AM needs. Not putting the LTC down, just saying the Nomad is probably better suited.
  16. Good news... I work for a printing company!
  17. Try Mountain bike UK or What Mountain bike to see what a decent mag should look like.
  18. *** brew. At least 50%.
  19. Yup. Can't use any other watch, as I bump into stuff all the time. Got a Casio G-Shock Riseman. Use it for surfing, mtbiking, etc etc and it keeps on rolling... er, sorry...ticking.
  20. I've got the new XT's and my riding partner has Codes. XT's maybe have a bit more "feel". Codes look a bit cooler for a DH bike I'd say. Same stopping power on both. Either way you can't go wrong. Both extremely good sets.
  21. Oh ****. I forgot Santa is also a Hubber!
  22. Extremely good...that bearded old bastard better not think otherwise.
  23. Stop giving me ideas dammit. My list for Santa is already two pages long.
  24. Bloody racists...or is that bloody roadies?
  25. Dig those red handlebars.
