It is fun if you've trained hard enough. Amazing terrain. Very technical, and it changes continuously. You never get bored.

Did the 2010 Attakwas as prep for the EPic. Spent fricken 9.5 hours on my bike that day to cover the 135km. Was harder than anything the EPic could dish up.

Sorry to hear this guys. I haven't done an IM, but have done an Epic, and if someone told me 3 weeks before the race that it's off due to bad planning, I would have committed murder. It's not just the money invested, it's actually the time that you spent training. Time you can never get back. Sad indeed.

I have 685mm bar on my zula which feels great. But I ride a lot of single track, for which the longer bar is perfect in giving you more control. But I guess you could fit a 660mm as well if you ride more dirt roads (...heaven forbid...)

Nah boet. Save up until you can get a Zula. Having two other Morewoods you're too used to that special feeling to get onto something, er... less special. Can't say enough good things about the Zula. A XC bike for the DH'r.
