  5. The key is if it is a spray/mist or a jet stream. Dont buy the misting one, you gonna get yourself as well
  6. Same here. I am no race snake either. Groups generally get fed up with my slow pace and ride away from me. I cant be bothered. There are a few that do tolerate my pace also, but I also find alot of the times people are buys and dont have the time as often.

  10. F'ed up indeed. This weekend I witnessed a traffic office ignoring a long line of cars parked on a red, which basically closed that lane. Instead the officer was too in a hurry to get out of there and drove into oncoming traffic flashing his lights and causing a traffic jam. Law enforcement is non existent for most people in this country. The only people unto whom the law is enforced are the middle class.
  11. There may have been 2 people in the back seat. I was too focused on not getting smashed into!! After all I can get my near classic in an accident.! I was alongside the front of the white corrolla and could just about see the driver who looked like noem my skolliie. At which point I looked for an exit strategy and floored it.
  12. I had a moron try and drive me off the road this morning. I slow down then slows down, i speed up and then he speeds up. I was in my car. I am not sure if he was trying to hijack me or something. But thank goodness for horsepower, as soon as I saw a gap I was gone, but damn!!! I even forgot to get his plate. https://eservices1.capetown.gov.za/coct/wapl/zsreq_app/index.html

  14. Must have been before 1991!
  15. How long back was that? I havent caught a shark in a long time, then again I dont rig or bait up for them any longer.
  16. Indeed, especially when out hiking. The ground now is perfect camouflage for snakes, especially with all the extra vegetation growth after the rains.

  18. So you rather want a nasty surprise🤣 I prefer to know about it beforehand. I know there are plenty snakes every where, but there is just well......I think I will take the "gopros" next time I venture out on an mtb trail!
  19. Check with your local universities. I know UWC over here offers credits based on work experience etc. as they have a program for people working to obtain a degree. Maybe you can find something similar.
  20. This year has been my first encounter with numerous snakes around the mountains in Cape Town. I have never seen one apart from, I suspect a cobra near one of the snake trails a few years back.
  21. Naa, i am good on the road. Snakes are easier to see on tar
