  1. Received 5 diff parcels 3 weeks ago thru sapo. It took about 4 and 5 months before I received it. cost me a total of R100 at the post office and the items totaled about R1000. I doubt I would order again with delivery through sapo as their future is very unclear at the moment.

  4. I had a T6 ranger(2016), it did not fit in most parking bays, but then again some bays are just made smaller
  5. Nice, and WOW, dont forget the gopro!! I agree on getting or renting a bike there. Maybe contemplate buying a used DH bike there that you could resell there or here. Start looking online, pinkbike, ebay and some bikeshops in the areas you gonna be at.
  6. I was contemplating doing it. But I have very little saddle time.
  7. Most groups ride like this. While riding single file is the law, I dont have any problem with 2 abreast in the yellow which is illegal to use, but I feel much safer in it than next to it.
  8. If you buying south, you can ask for custom graphic colours(if they are still doing them). Also have a look at the weight restrictions. I have a south enduro wheelset for my overweight self and the wheels have held up on dh lines and pretty much anything else. I cant talk about csixx as I dont know anything about their wheels.
  9. I like that route, but I tend to ride up to chappies viewpoint first, then glencairn express and up redhill. @babse I prefer early mornings simply cause there are less cars on the road and if I start a bit later, then I cut out chappies. I have been riding solo road a lot more lately, not sure when last I was on the mtb.
  10. something with a dw link, but..... https://www.bicycling.com/bikes-gear/mountain-bike/a37145853/what-is-a-bar/ https://www.bikeradar.com/features/the-ultimate-guide-to-mountain-bike-rear-suspension-systems/ its more the design of the suspension system.
  11. Years ago I worked in support for Various top tier companies and private hospitals all over Cape Town. The day I resigned, I was called out to a hospital to restore their terminals and network. As soon as I logged in I could tell that someone was working on the server. I called into the office and they were like no, restore the terminals. So I carried out the instruction, it didnt work, After a few hours a supervisor rocks up and also cannot get it to work. I tell him someone is working on the server and he ignores me. He makes calls etc. Just as our manager walks in the terminals connect after almost a whole day there. It turned out that there was people working on the server at that hospital and at the Telkom building in Belville. I resigned on the spot and told them this could of all been avoided if I was authorised to go check the server room after my call to the office.
  12. Sounds interesting, like @MORNE , I probably would bonk at 80km, but I know the area well and should be doable but at what speed🙈. I would def use a camelbak for such a long distance.
