  1. I spotted your problem. All you have to do is remove the bar ends and never put them back. Wider bars with shorter stem will give you just as much leverage for climbing with the added benefit of increased control.
  2. It's the new chick.
  3. Could be. Jason's hair was pretty long before he cut it. I have his details...
  4. This thread is great! BTW, you can't get your HR above 100%. The highest number you record is your new max. Probably more.
  5. Don't worry guys. I know someone who will be offering courses in the bike maintenance training side of things.
  6. Like an AM bike with road wheels. Yuk!
  7. We could even integrate the FNB Banking app for you...
  8. Also check chain routing through the derailleur. I have seen some where the chain goes around both jockey wheels but is the wrong side of that little protective tab on the cage. should go straight from one wheel to the other without rubbing on any metal bits.
  9. Avid rotors warp instantly at the slightest addition of heat. In fact I've never actually run any of my Avids brakes with their rotors. The rotors are the part that gets thrown away.
  10. Good news. If only more of the syndicates behind the poachers were caught. Because poachers just get replaced with the next unethical dude who is keen to earn an easy R1000.
  11. Quick solution: change rotors to something good like Shimano Ice Tech.
  12. ROFL. I dig the way all the bikes ended up in a pile on the same spot but the riders were strewn out all over the place.
  13. Moots http://www.singletracks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/moots_mooto_x_ybb_3.jpg
  14. Once you have saved up for the dropper post you will have to get rid of the fannypack because it will destroy itself on the rear tyre Edit: so you may as well save for a proper hydration pack at the same time.
  15. You guys made me run to check that my RF chainring was NW. Thankfully yes.
  16. Does that wire to the rear light attach to a battery?
  17. An easy way to recognise thru axle... When your wheel is off you will see a hollow tube. The axle is a removable part of the fork and usually measures 15 or 20mm in diameter.
  18. I will PM you.
  19. Yes. I do skills coaching for beginners.
  20. Will be there! We always take own food...
  21. How much are the premiums?
  22. Cool. I can't wait to see you on it at the next Enduro.
  23. Imagine trying to coordinate suspension lock out and dropper post adjustment at the same time.
  24. I'm sure I made a thread called "Bikes not made for Enduro" That thread may have disappeared in the big crash of '13...
