  1. I have 3 saddles. All the same brand, model, colour etc Will try get a loaner.
  2. I have the occasional numb toes. Will look into the height, tilt etc stuff.
  3. Seems to be piriformis in the left leg and glute to an extent.
  4. Funny enough I keep injuring a tiny muscle in my leg that ends up affecting a lot of other bits and pieces. This time I've been off for a long time. This is week 6. I'm thinking I'm not engaging the correct muscles in my legs when pedalling. Working with a biokineticist now to rectify the problem for good hopefully. Just want to be sure the bike is setup correctly since I do my big training rides on it. The M9 and the Komodo are play bikes. I don't care too much about the setup on them.
  5. hahaha. fixed it for you.
  6. Not yet. I did message a mate who does professional fittings. Will see what he says.
  7. Seems like most bike fit places only offer road and XC bike fitment. I need to double check the fitment on the Mbuzi as I think it could be the cause of some of what I'm struggling with at the moment. Obviously an AM or Enduro bike would have some similarities like fore and aft position of saddle as well as height of saddle. But... how does the wider bars and short stem setup work with this. A fit could tell me to use a 680mm bar with 100mm stem which pretty much defeats the purpose of the 760mm bars and 50mm stem. Anybody have this done before?
  8. I don't see a bike
  9. I'm going to say no. Chances are the tyre will catch the derailleur and you will have zero mud clearance. Even with a skinny tyre.
  10. Jason by international trade.
  11. Nukeproof Zero for the Jamis or the Morewood. Haven't decided yet!
  12. Hoe smaak daai sweets? Bleddie mooi hubs!
  13. 165mm Saint cranks for the M9 175mm ones are going to the Morewood.
  14. Great deal indeed. Try Evobike and Easybike. Great service from both with super quick delivery. You will be surprised how well these brake stop and the levers have an incredibly good feel. XT or SLX is my only other setup I would run if I didn't use Hope.
  15. In that case I'd go for better brakes and the stem handlebar upgrade. Better brakes allow you the scrub off speed much later before corners and also brake with better control and confidence. The shorter stem and wider bars will quicken the steering if the bike a bit which helps to get into corners with more confidence and also helps get weight back on descending.
  16. Couple of things actually. Wider bars and shorter stem will make the most noticeable difference to the way the bike handles. Grips and saddle. Pedals and shoes. Brakes - SLX can be had in that budget.
  17. Then a toolbox and work stand to complete it all
  18. +1000 I always thought I didn't need one until I got mine. Best investment yet.
  19. Paint the bead of the tyre with sealant before installing them. Also leave them in the sun before inflating. Helps a bit.
  20. Have the same ones. Damn skippy!
  21. R15k will actually get you a very nice bike. I always advise people to look at "last year's model" as dealers tend to clear older stock at great prices to free up space on the floor. Just because it's older doesn't make it a bad bike. It makes it a good deal. Things to look for would be parts spec and fork options. Tyres will wear out and get replaced anyways. The correct size and fit is the most important thing. You can't fix a bike that is too small or too large with tweaking. It just won't work. Make sure the shop offers good service with regards to this. Hang around and see how other customers are treated and listen to advice given. Any sales person worth his salt will first ask about what type of rider you are and secondly what your budget is. Not just sell based on what is on the floor. Good luck!
  22. What is the HA on the 5.5 and Fuel?
  23. It already exists. Not only in frame but also headset manufacturers.
  24. Ill be there. Maybe riding, maybe not.
