Keep in mind there is a big difference between a bike fitting and a bike setup. Bike fitting is like have a custom tailored suit made. Bike setup is like having the pant legs shortened a little.

We will be back in Bloem for this weekend and would like to take bikes with. Where are the good spots to ride these days? I know Seven dams is not exactly the same anymore. Looking for around 25km or so.

Coming from Randburg I supposed the directions would be reversed. I normally turn right into Thaba so I would turn right into Impala road.

So after my AEG machine blew the main seal I resorted to an Aeropress. Super impressed with it so far. A good dark, intense roast makes for a damn good cappuccino. Anybody know where to get the portafilter seal for an AEG machine? Local agents don't seem to know.

Thanks. I dont recall if the old plug activated the reverse light or not. The aux was wired in differently to different pins. As long as the lights work I'm happy. Used that exact diagram you posted to wire the new one. Saved me a couple of bucks to not have to have it done.

I replaced the plug on my Menabo Winny 3 from the italian style with the 7 pin converter to a normal 7 pin plug after I somehow forgot to plug the bugger in and it dragged on the tar. Only question is the blue wires. These are the auxiliary wires for the reverse lights. Doesn't seem to work. However everything else is working. Anybody know what this could be caused by?

The streaming was horribly slow last night. Had to watch at 240p which sucked a little. But! WHAT A LEGEND!

Had a Singular Swift 29er SS rigid etc etc and that already was a brilliant 29er. Rode it quite hard and it was always rewarding. The switch back to more gravity oriented riding put me on a 26er again which still suits my riding style and wallet better but if I was going to have one bike for it all the Stumpy or the Enduro 29er would be my weapon of choice. Busy reevaluating my riding future post spinal surgery and I will need to tone back on the extreme riding at some point. There might just be a more sensible bike in my near future.

Rode a 29er stumpy the other day and I loved it. Good spec and incredibly nimble for a big wheeler. Took a very slight adjustment in my riding style to get it to rail berms like a king. All in all a great do-it-all bike. One I would be proud to own. This from the 26er revolution man himself. Haha
