  1. jagwil, I have to agree with you that there is safety in numbers the only problem is that it's not practical. The time of the morning that I need to ride to fit some training in is ridiculous and I can't convince many people to join me. My options are ride alone or don't ride at all. I'm sure that I'm not the only one out there with this challenge.. Nancy Drew2009-05-26 12:26:01

  11. I've seen the Thug doing hill repeats there, so no doubt he has timed it. I could tell you how long it takes me to the top but don't feel like embarrassing myself right now

  14. Cresta Wheelers? I think they do weekend group rides on the spruit? Mampara might be able to comment.
  15. Kleintjie.. Breedts Nek becomes very 'quiet' around this time of year. In September it 'picks up' again and there is no shortage of groups meeting at the garage to ride it. I still go out there fairly regularly, so you're welcome to join me anytime. That being said, it is a fairly safe ride to do alone as well (if you don't fall) word of warning.. I'm not the fastest rider so if you're looking for a 'pacier; ride then someone else will have to help out
  16. Hmmm... I'm sure it's really nice when it's dry and the end is in sight
  17. shall we assume that the authorities had been notified and everyone wasn't just riding past the body? By the end, we should also assume out Paulshof side?
