  1. Mankele!
  2. I am in deep then. Should only be back on the bike in 2 weeks time. What's with the TT on day 1? I like finishing off with it.
  3. So what's in store for us? Compared to last year?
  4. Nice one mandibles. Reminds of a certain pic of Kevin Evans during a race with his tube round his neck.
  5. Very sh*tty.... But you can now upgrade to Nikon and Suunto. By the way, I heard that Bushnell have taken over the Suunto agency in SA. Maybe a bit more marketing will be done. Does anyone know of any good way to do an off suite back up? I have 3 drives that I regularly backup and hide all over the place but it is a mission.
  6. Wasn't Illovo' date=' we dont cycle down Jan Smuts at all. We did however cross Jan Smuts at Loch this morning but it was around 06:15. [/quote'] You guys jump the robots, yield or stop?
  7. why not put your right hand between your bum and saddle till it gets numb... Dont have to. One of the joys of my medication. Feet are gone too. All you gotta do now is paint your nails and you've got the full experience What colour do you recommend? Maybe green right and red left?

  9. Using your left hand feels like somebody else is doing it.
  10. I am not familiar with the ride of the Epiphany but tried a 575 which was very different from my ASR. If you are not in too much of a hurry, there is a new asr5 coming out which is meant to be the bees knees.
  11. Dont throw away your old socks.
  12. Let her make the final decision. Having been there a few years back I learnt that the look of the bike is a more important consideration than it should be. A nice looking bike that does the job will get ridden more than a bike with fancier components that was a good deal. More than enough time later on to upgrade as long as it is ridden.
  13. Crossmarks are great all round tyres for drier riding. They are perfect for rolling district roads that you will have in Namibia.
  14. You can and will beat it!
  15. Good Luck!
  16. I would like to propose that these inconsiderate louts be named and shamed. There is enough traffic on this site that it might get through their thick skins. Pity all cyclists get painted with the same brush.
  17. Is it a standard frame? Have you looked at something with a different top tube that gives a lower standover height? Might be easier and more effective than messing round with wheels. xxs Yeti asr Dirtbreath2009-09-18 22:35:14
  18. It's a tatoo dumbass.
  19. Looking at The Adventure or Burley from CRC. Not sure where you can get them locally but would be keen. Was also interested in what age they are suitable from. Saw a vidoe on Youtube of guys riding with trailers (kit not kids) and they were doing quite hectic stuff so a kid on jeep tracks shouldnt be a problem.
  20. I might be mistaken but I think the Shimano levers are side specific. Reservoir cap sist on top. The Avid Juicys I used to have were interchangeable though. The reservoir sat in front and you could easily flip them over.
  21. And the Blue Steel Look? Priceless!
  22. I use a t6 with a GPS pod. I find the altitude a lot more consistant when you mount the watch on the bars than on your wrist which heats up more. I mistakenly changed my settings to give baro pressure instead of altitude and it doesnt give you altitude on the download. The GPS pod however still gives the distance. Does anyone know if this is a true distance or just a straight line distance excluding any allowance for ascent/descent? Speak to Steve at Manex Marine if you have any more problems.
  23. Maybe they should give out sertifikaats so you can like plak it on your wall.
