  1. Too much time on the 19th. I get golfers big toe.
  2. I was looking at the 705 but in the end decided against it. Have a HRM where I use the download software and rather went for the Oregon which has a bigger screen and seems a bit more practical to use for driving and hiking. I am still very new to this whole GPS thing so no sure I have made the right choice but time will tell. Oh, you can pair an optional HR belt with the Oregon should you wish. Also has AA batteries as I was not that keen on having to recharge the unit itself as you are not always guaranteed power.
  3. Got seryaas magnifikayshun here and I still see no mud. That saddle is gonna be nice n tan after the muddy day.
  4. You gonna carry it on the compulsory "MUDDY DAY"?
  5. Tankman, have read some of your posts on Garmap forum. Eish. I have just got an Oregon 300. A little bit bigger but wanted a full screen. Can also buy a separate HR strap but dont need it for HR as I use my Suunto for that. Havent used it on my rides yet so cant say how good/bad it is.
  6. How about a pink Chris King headset?
  7. Aaaaaah, pink and blonde. My favourite colours!
  8. Very nice! Whats with the headset? Looks like a BB.
  9. Did you have to drill into the body? No, this is a full roofrack that mounts onto my roof sills. I merely meant that if you were at Frontrunner and they were going to make up something for you, you can install Prorides onto tgheir tracks.
  10. Had the opportunity of getting off my Yeti asr straight onto a Yeti asr carbon. The sensation was one of a much stiffer ride. The bike felt extremely responsive and very different to mine which has similar if not exact geometry. Was this purely a placebo of getting on a bike that is pure bling or attributable to frame material/geometry. The carbon also has an integrated seat post. Could this make a difference?
  11. CR, my sympathies that you have to put up with this crap. Unfortunately this is happening in your back yard so it affects you all the time. Cyclists come from the whole spectrum of society, the nicest folk through to bottome feeders. These bottom feeders are everywhere and spoil it for people in all spheres of life, eg, beach and 4x4 driving, nature reserves, general traffic, queuing, etc. Good luck!
  12. Jislaaik! That are a mooi bike! Good deal boys!
  13. Never had a problem inflating. When installing the tyre, make sure both beads are together and fit into the groove in the rim. This will save you some broken tyre levers and fingers when you feed it all the way round.
  14. rad, apologies for my tone but this topic is very close to my heart. As you know, collecting funds for charity takes a lot of hard work. The ride/event or whatever it is is the fun part and the cherry on the top. Many people want to be seen to do something good and have the best intentions of doing something positive but quickly lose interest once they realise that it's hard work grovelling to the corporates just to throw some scraps for a good cause. CHOC (as the example) is an emotional cause and I am sure everyone would love to be seen as doing it for the cause. The truth is that it's not quite as glamorous behind the scenes. All the best in your charity drives.
  15. Nice on chucky! All the best for your ride. rad, I really think you should throw your toys somewhere else. Grow up!
  16. 2010 Cannondale cycles ARE here.
  17. Don't use sunblock on your forehead. Just do your cheeks and below. Your helmet will protect your forhead.
  18. Sorry, not the greatest of pics but the bubble is in the middle under the cross. Has this problem ever led to the total failure of a tyre. I still havent put back the replacement that Probike gave me but this problem seems to have been going on for quite a while. Any other tyres other than Maxxis XMark and Larsens that it is evident with?
  19. Nice work guys!
  20. The jury is still out whether it is an ammonia problem or just an excuse. Phone the guys at Maxxis and chat to them. They were going to put warnings on their new tyres. Those there yet?
  21. Nice! Makes me want to get out there on my bike.
  22. If you can get to it you can hacksaw a flat groove across the head and loosen with a screwdriver.
