Same here, can anyone suggest a good place in JHB?

B&B water (feast) tables are some of the best you'll ever find. Plenty technical single track and awsome scenery coming down the berg. Sani kit in the goodie bags is great. Unbelievable Umko descent on Day 2. Track is smoother but a more difficult ride overall than B&B. W2W - still on the bucket list.

I put 50-100ml (never actually measure) in 1/3 bucket of warm water and that does the whole bike with ease!!!

Not sure you want to camp there - there is F-all there. Rather camp at the registration or give the Back Packers down the road a call ( 082 855 9767) they might have camp sites - not sure.

Ditto. Last yre the Trek was great - no queues, very little holdups anywhere on the track AND we each got our own tent!!!!! Still looking forward to the descent though.

Garmin will be my next purchase. The Polar I have is a piece of cr@p as a HRM, although it's a bit better as a bike computer for speed, distance, cadence etc.....Bottom line is I won't be visiting a Polar store any time soon!!

This could so easily have been another fatal 'statistic' for our roads. The sad thing is the driver will be behind the wheel again tomorrow and won't give a $hit about the next cyclist he sees!!!
