  1. You guys should go for tips with Patches, he is always available when I am to catch up To be honest, I actually told him the other day that I don't know where I am anymore because I was chatting to my sister-in-law in Canada all day when they were going through the fires evacuation time and also with him and then I had a 'friend' in the east too for a couple of days during the same time - my head didn't know when to add or when to subtract hours anymore (good practice for when I am in NZ I guess) Edit: deleted the double quote box
  2. I'd like to say permanently, but with me that's like a death sentence to tell me I am going to be in one place for the rest of my life But yes, work contract states indefinitely
  3. If not your neighbour he might be to one of the other 100 hubbers that's there
  4. For the now 3rd week I have been trying to fight off my nasal drip, sneezing, runny nose, not feeling too good on rides (heart rate thing too) with eating nartjies etc. The last 3 days my dieet has been terrible (no veg etc) and I fear this morning my voice started going funny too and I have a head ache. I also do not wish it will fully get the hang of me, it should just clear up now.
  5. Gonna have to learn all these 'types' again...

  17. If I cover all the distance on a MTB that I have done on a road bike the last couple of months I will be able to quit my job and go race road for a living ....if that answers your question Much easier spending 7 hours on a road bike than 7 hours on a MTB (and you can cover 3 provinces in that time) ...........ah man, wish I could go do that right now.
  18. What is your cadence difference between the two? Also do you work your arms more on the mtb than the road bike - like steering and gripping.. I have found, since I started road riding my MTBing became A LOT easier. I use to HATE climbs, now there is no hate and just going up (still slow, but not near the back of the pack anymore).
  19. Just a warning....I am not BIG on shopping, but I would really need to go. And maybe tips from lady ladies will be good for a change (because I dont really fall in that category) and your wife always looks beautiful (she is going to judge my lack of style and hate for make up I just know...hahaha)
  20. Friends with benefits?
  21. Is there maybe references to the people that have tested these posts? Are they known on the riding scene?
  22. Packing some clothes last night left me wanting to ask here... to Wayne and Noli, have the wives found some nice places to shop for clothes....work stuff in particular - I need (not want).
  23. You know me..........I have already googled it this side (prices, routes, busses etc etc) and I have it all worked out...haha Knowing you, you just arrived and went "okay, what now" Didnt it say a route inside of the bus stop? The stop would have had a number or colour code on it to indicate the line/route....Dad and I took the buses in Auckland we we found it easy to use that time. *things one learns from travelling in different countries*
