  1. Can you maybe send/post a pic of how far around your ribs that chest protector goes...so a view from the side..
  2. Gas stove is your solution it seems. It is much quicker anyway. A real good purchase, electricity or not.
  3. http://www.ulule.com/overade/
  4. At Wolwespruit in PTA. (Conveniently next to Kloof hospital) That pump track is AWESOME. Like in really really. The jump line is kinda ready to ride and the jumps are great to learn on (just be careful with your speed at first because one picks up speed quicker than one think but those jumps can 'kick' a bit). If it was closer to home I'd be there every week (like on week days). Triple thumbs up for the flow on that track! I don't even know how many laps I did.
  5. Yip...I ordered the tld ones. I didnt pay any duties, but I think I was lucky (again). I am super happy with them. Arrived in my hands cheaper than any local shop and within 1 week and 2 days from the date I placed the order.
  6. I can see an ugly ding in the Nukeproofs there in the back...I think they also need an up date, what do you think? Those rims are quite tough, dont know how that person got it right.
  7. Cool! Hope you guys will be keen for such a ride on the 10th / 11th April too...I am bringing my bike that weekend.
  8. Going local is to expensive for me. I have till now go everything cheaper from over the seas (landed prices) and well worth the 1 week - 2 weeks wait (yes I have been lucky too regarding the posting times)
  9. If you inport a complete bike you are going to get clapped by duty!
  10. Not locally I know that
  11. CRC. I placed the order last Tuesday (27th) and got it today with the free mail option.
  12. I wasnt planning to buy anything this year riding related until I realised I needed knee guards...and then the tops and helmet and lense and brake pads got added to the box too..
  13. Northcliff cycles? Not many places sell that lube and it is pretty awesome! Both great purchases.
  14. So I bought this last week (ya know the colour...)...... The this week I am dreaming about... YT was really really evil! I bet they knew it will be hard for me to resist!
  15. Might sound like a weird suggestion, but have you ever tried to take the seat post completely out and ride a turn in your driveway by just standing on your pedals..
  16. That is my old fork, it just had a service so felt like new again (it was giving lots of issues last year). Hakahana is a good place to learn how to jump because the jumps are 'safe' (the wall drop has a palet in now so you can start off real slow at 1st).. here is a vid of me doing it at roll in speed and still clearing it (the gap/palet).. https://www.facebook.com/#!/video.php?v=10152949937881276&set=vb.744721275&type=2&theater (sorry for the fb link but cant post other links at work) The 1st 2 times I went there I was too scared to try it, many factors freaked me out, but I can say there is actually nothing to be scared about. SP1 at Hakahana has a veriety of feachers and even smaller 'rock drops' and a steep rock roll and lots of rocky terrain to practice on. I think it is a good place to drain the tips from Peach.
  17. Can I come crash the one at Hakahana? I might be able to help with the 1st uplift to the top if you want and I can be the lady dummy if you think having a lady do things will make them other riders more confident...
  18. A perfect warm day... Now just to go find a pool to cool down in.
  19. Some sunshine between all the rain
  20. Yes Jozi does...they people dont sell their things here, they give it away thats how much cash they have lying around...
  21. Last ride in JHB/Gauteng for 2014.
