  1. What? Ridden every Epic or his total lack of mechanical skills? Do some research...
  2. Only if you're homophobic or gay. No tools needed http://www.teamestrogen.com/content/asa_levers
  3. from from too?
  4. Quality control in 2012 in South Africa, or is it sub editing?
  5. So if Bos is right we're going to be treated to an attempt to win the tour with sneaky little attempts to steal a few seconds on Wiggins et all every time we have a descent finish? That's exactly why we all love Evans wheel sucking habits! Anyway, it should keep the "nothing" finishes more interesting.
  6. That Sagan oke is looking awesome, today was jsut amazing, 1 guy in his train for last few km. Liquigas is lucky to have him.
  7. Sad because you didn't get to read Hairy's post, which was excellent, or sad because a plonker got frightened away from filling the hubs advert pages with crap? Here's another better thaen new bike for sale from a brand new hubber: http://www.thehubsa....m&item_id=30647 edit: spelling than. Do I feel like a cock now?
  8. Homophobic as well as stupid? Self respecting man on the tyre change scale? Make me larf. In fact he climbed Everest and rode Epic in the same year, probably while you were learning to change your tyre.
  9. Sagan easy peasy, all by himself in the sprint. Boy is he good.
  10. I can't se the big deal here. I know a guy who has ridden every epic and can't change a tyre, never mind fix a chain.....
  11. Cav stuffed up at the Milan San Remo because he relaxed before the race, I think we'll see him go all the way to Paris. Sky seems to have this philosophy now with the swimmer as coach that you stay on top of your game, no apparent taper and peak.
  12. http://www.thehubsa....h&fromMainBar=1 Search function, wow it's amazing, all I did was type "which heart rate monitor" select search all forums click the search glass green button.
  13. Check this thread: https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/117083-tacx-genius-multiplayer-vr-turbo-trainer/ And there are 12 others covering the Tacx. Bottom line, the fortius is fine, TTS 3 is great, TTS 4 is buggy, i-Magic works, just. Genius is the dog's bollocks but expensive and a wireless fortius.
  14. Oh, I thought he wasn't selected because Becca is the boss and he doesn't want pensioners with their Zimmer frames f**king up his project with the Schleck brothers. Love Vaughters' comment about sky
  15. World Cup 2010 Nelson Mandela Bay. Curve 8520
  16. GroupOn are so unethical it's barely possible to differentiate them from crooks. The manipulation of normal price to sell at a so called saving is blatantly dishonest. But pyro has certainly not covered itself in glory either in this episode. I think Hannes has acknowledged that.
  17. Oh what a tangled web we weave, When first we practise to deceive! Sir Walter Scott, Marmion, Canto vi. Stanza 17. Scottish author & novelist (1771 - 1832)
  18. I'd donate my left ball for a bike lane, never mind a bike highway
  19. Any one ride this bike yet?
  20. I can't see any of the GC "favourites" being able to get away from Sky if they show the form they have over the past week. Their riding on Saturday was just superb. Tempo with 4 riders in the front bunch caused huge damage to the other team leaders, never mind the way they chased down a big BMC break. I think we'll be left with Evans trying his pathetic little grabs for seconds here and there as we saw on his attack on the descent on Saturday.
  21. Bollocks 1979 and 1981 Hinault 1995 Indurain 2002 and 2003 the texan At least 2 great champions have done it before.
  22. Hopefully SRAM or Ergon will come up with an after-market grip with a bit of a bar end as it feels wrong to destroy the classic look of the shifter/handlebar with bar ends at this stage. They already have! http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=9687 http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Images/Models/Full/9687.jpg
  23. Your max is not accurate, it is impossible to go above 100%! You have now achieved a new max, reset your device to reflect this new heart rate. It is common to sit in the 80's in a race, the reason you are cramping is that you are pushing harder than your body wants you to go, you are not allowing time for the lactic acid in your muscles to be "cleared". You will always have lactic acid build up if your heart works in the 85% plus range, no matter how fit your are, it's just how the body works. Do more training up to 78% with only a few bursts up to 90% then recover back down to the mid 70's
