  1. Approximately 900MB for 3 hours streaming
  2. Some graphics on the climbs http://images2.gazzettaobjects.it/static_images/ciclismo/giroditalia/2012/tappa_20_S01.jpg?v=20120420134452 http://images2.gazzettaobjects.it/static_images/ciclismo/giroditalia/2012/tappa_20_S02.jpg?v=20120420134452 http://images2.gazzettaobjects.it/static_images/ciclismo/giroditalia/2012/tappa_20_S03.jpg?v=20120420134452 http://images2.gazzettaobjects.it/static_images/ciclismo/giroditalia/2012/tappa_20_S04.jpg?v=20120420134453 http://images2.gazzettaobjects.it/static_images/ciclismo/giroditalia/2012/tappa_20_S05.jpg?v=20120420142803
  3. Have been waiting for today for some time, 1:30 must hurry along. This is seriously one of the most exciting stages we will see in a Grand Tour, so many contenders in uncharted territory: The Stelvio. http://images2.gazzettaobjects.it/static_images/ciclismo/giroditalia/2012/tappa_dettagli_tecnici_altimetria_20.jpg?v=%3C!--%20%5Ban%20error%20occurred%20while%20processing%20this%20directive%5D%20%20--%3E Look at it, what a beast. Not so much steep, but long and high and I suspect very unforgiving. After 219km with very little flat roads. Awesome, cycling at it's best. Eurosport (in english) coverage from 13:30 at http://sports-livez.com/channel/ch-6.php. Another exciting prospect, Cav can win Red without being seen all day, depending on what a climber Rodriguez does. This situation has not been seen in a Grand Tour for at least a decade. Bring it on
  4. This is what I did this afternoon while watching the giro, is it ok?
  5. My opinion is Specialized. +1, Spesh dominates the shoe market as far as riding goes, over 50% of riders I see wear Spesh. Market is right.
  6. You are right, it really looks like an actual picture. But of what exactly Cav? Showtime, preamble live now...
  7. I have read somewhere that the cassette and chain should be changed together. Is this true Not always. Measure your chain with a chain measure. If the chain stretch is greater than .75 but less than 1 then you can replace the chain only. If over 1 you must replace the cassette as well as the chain. any 9 speed chain fit a 9 speed cassette Yes
  8. So disappointed in my boy yesterday, just getting over him losing to that guy in lumo yellow, Guardini. 1st Chippo slags him off, then a guy on a Chippo bike rides away from him. Not surprised he was so angry at the finish. No respect from this Guardini guy. Oh well, back to the boring hills today http://images2.gazzettaobjects.it/static_images/ciclismo/giroditalia/2012/tappa_dettagli_tecnici_altimetria_19.jpg?v=%3C!--%20%5Ban%20error%20occurred%20while%20processing%20this%20directive%5D%20%20--%3E All the action on EuroSport with David Harman and Sean Kelly from 13:30 at http://sports-livez.com/channel/ch-6.php other languages http://sports-livez.com/ Expected time of ascent of Passo Manghen from 14:04 to 14:26, then it's all up and down, final climb expected from 16:41 to 17:23 then 15 to 20 mins climbing. Just cancelled all topless shoots for the day, my boy is going to hurt dragging his @rse over these hills.
  9. Yawn
  10. At last, another day for my boy. These hills are too hard. They exhaust him.
  11. Open Plan Office warning W@nk in your hand and chuck it at her edit: added opow
  12. Stans NoTubes recommend the following formula to get the right tyre pressure in PSI: Rider weight in kilograms x 2.2 to get to pounds divided by 7 plus 2 for rear wheel minus 1 for front wheel to get Bar divide your answer by 14.5 So OP at 77kg = 169.4lbs 169.4/7= 24.2 Rear + 2 = 26.2psi = 1.67Bar Front - 1 = 23.2psi = 1.6Bar I prefer PSI as it's easier to see 26 and 23 on a pump than 1.67 or 1.6
  13. Omnico charged me R650 for a full service of the Lefty.
  14. I tried to be very careful not to refer to him as a doper. I went with the facts: Ullrich, Pantani, Basso, Hamilton, Herras, Landis, Vino. All proved. All drug cheats.
  15. Forums like this work because of self styled Hub Police stomping around. Keeps Fred interesting and discourages rubbish postings that we end up wasting time reading. Not referring to this thread as rubbish.
  16. Worked for Cadel in TDF last year. But oh so boring. Makes Liquigas look really exciting As much as I dislike the Texan I did enjoy his dominance of all the drug cheats on the big mountains in most of his 7 victories in the TDF.
  17. What a day and it's only Wednesday. Stage 17 preview and video of the climb and descent. Sorry, can't just post the video as it's a script but here is the page: http://www.telegraph...descending.html Coverage on eurosport (http://sports-livez.com/channel/ch-6.php) from 13:30, final climb ascent is between 16:27 and 17:00. All languages here: http://sports-livez.com/ Enjoy
  18. Ironically they don't even offer cheaper prices. Their internal slogan is "Premium products at premium prices"
  19. No Bob, it's got nothing to do with "SO much money. Tell me what to spend it on." Probably like you, I don't ask advice. I ask for an opinion before I dismiss it if it doesn't confirm what I want to do. It's also been ages since I went to PnP to buy bike stuff. No I lie, I buy Clean Green there. And engine cleaner in the yellow bottle to clean my chain.
  20. How hard do you look before you type **** like this? There were 10 different live streaming video feeds in 5 languages on one site alone: http://sports-livez.com/
  21. There you've said it yourself. The LBS does not have this problem as the owner works in the shop. When I spend money I like to know the guy I'm dealing with is going to be around come problem time or upgrade time. In your store the guy I deal with might not even be there by the time I go back to buy chain lube. Most successful bike shops are run by cyclists for cyclists, guys who have ridden what I ride, understand what will work for the type of riding I want to do, know the trails I want to ride, know what works with what. I think it's highly optimistic to expect a shop assistant on the retail floor to know this stuff without actually getting out there with the customers on the trails. And not just riding with the boss once a week. My personal experience of SWH is that they do not offer anything that can't be found elsewhere and their prices are normally more expensive. By all means, fleece the unsuspecting public wanting to get into cycling but please leave us hubbers alone with an internet offering without internet pricing. The worst of both worlds. There is nothing that differentiates your offering for the above average cyclist. And no one on the hub is here because they no nothing about cycling.
  22. Yep, my namesake is a hottie and was doing that well before she met him. In fact, well before he was a star. Most big stars are seen topless all over the net, mainly cos they are worth looking at. The Sun signed her before she was 16 and saved her till they could expose her.
  23. If it's Phil and Paul you'll be bordering on child abuse, Sean Kelly and Dave Harman will make the whole family want to be cyclists...
  24. *** in the case of LA, he's disliked because of his lying about his cheating. As for disliking CAV, just a case of jealousy that he is super quick AND look left at my profile picture!
  25. If you don't mind self service as all the staff are finding out the importance of breaks, as quoted by the store guy above.
