  1. Hi Luke, we have one - the wife drives it and it's really awesome. (had it for about 4 months now). Very nice to drive and more than enough power for normal daily use. Very solid and very good on consumption....it sips slowly. We don't tow anything major but did get the automatic foldaway towbar which we use for the bike carrier. All in all a very solid build and a pleasure to drive.
  2. Busted. it now belongs to the interwebs... no delete button... it's out "there"
  3. LOL dude, hope your wife/gf didn't hear you comment about the blondie in the video, because you just uploaded proof of that chirp onto the interwebs!!!
  4. maybe you freewheel too often?
  5. I'm willing to bet the REAL weight of the ZERO 29 in size large will be at around 2kg's.
  6. Does it bob?
  7. You tell us first...

  9. Lol, yes the 5g of "material" difference will make a MASSIVE change in "quality of materials, resistance to corrosion, durability etc."
  10. Tiagra 4600 Cassette +- 256g 105 5700 Cassette +- 251g *Both 10 speeds, 12-25 5grams. Placebo effect = Unmeasurable Just buy it, it will make you faster!!!!!
  11. XTR has race and trail versions and is the top of the line, best money can buy in the SHIMANO range. XT is comparable only directly with the XTR Trail with tool-less reach adjust features. The XTR Race versions is in another class. In the long run I would suggest XT as it has better value for money, simply because it's almost have the price at very similar performance in actual braking (weight/finish/brand is the real reason for price difference). There is also absolutely no reason why you should not consider the 2012 SLX brakes (model M666) as again, it offers almost exact performance at huge cost saving compared to XT in this case. 1. Basically, if you have to ASK for advice, then buy the SLX, it's more than you probably need. 2. If you are really getting into MTB' seriously and trying to spoil yourself then go for XT 3. If you want the crazy street cred and best money can buy in SHIMANO range then get XTR * Obviously whatever I say here is limited to SHIMANO products and discounting other products/options from competitors. But if you have to ask this type of advice then I will always suggest you stick with SHIMANO, absolutely no other brake on the market is so easy to bleed, plus the performance is incredible, reliability excellent, and parts are available everywhere.
  12. You guys must google his GF, maybe have Safe Search = ON if you are in an open plan office or you are particularly sensitive to nudity.
  13. I think he meant you are old, and he himself is youthful?
  14. Yes, build a YETI!!!! Or, build a YETI!!! Or maybe, build a YETI!!!! But first decide if you want a Dual Suspension, or a Hardtail Or if you want 26" wheels, or 650b or 29" wheels... And how much travel you need? And then once you have decided all that, then build a YETI!!!!
  15. You just said Buffet and great Quality in the same conversation. Maybe you meant quantity? Now I have to come and try it out for myself!
  16. That's what I told my wife, wash your hands baby.... I also lost my O-ring after all the ridin' over the years... so we have to use a zip-tie to measure the shaft travel....
  17. Ok, so I am a bit obsessive compulsive, I wash my hands like 300 times a day, walk around with wet wipes and gels.... don't touch anything.... Now ...when I take a shower, I also have to wash from top then work my way down, i.e wash hair first, then face, then upper then lower body. Sometimes I may wash my body first, then my hair... then I get all paranoid and have to wash my body AGAIN because the dirty soap from the hairwash would have ruined the then already cleaned and washed torso, etc... Do you guys think I should try running more sag?
  18. Thanks Mike, you fail to mention that I'm also handsome, and have nice legs?
  19. Magalies is such a beach to get to from Jhb.
  20. Just peeked at the OP's profile - with listed interests (on a cycling website) as "bodyboard, guitar"? Wtf's up with that?
  21. Ok... fair enough, but it's a sunday night and you are drinking coffee... so you are probably a boring old troll in snor town... therefore, to be fair I think we should have another multi-dimensional mechanism to safeguard us against this type of thing happening... so maybe we should be able to rate your rating? so my chommies could rate you giving me a 7 a 3, and then it would reduce my douchebag rating and increase yours???? does this make sense?
  22. So, I was wondering... wonder if thehub could implement an "attitude, sarcastic, etc" button with posts, similar to the like this button? That would be cool... Plus, I really think one should be able to "like" your own posts... I make myself laugh so much, and think my posts are so clever.
  23. you say stupid things all the time... so it might not be a pure coincidence? Judy kidding, you laughing made me laugh.. Wish there were more ladies in Lycra... i HAVE NOTHING against that at all....
  24. to be fair, it does say "no fillers" on the container, so i dont know if that will work... It does say PUMP... so maybe its a bit confusing.. Oh... I just spotted it's "FRUIT" PUNCH flavor, so maybe it's right up your alley?
  25. Okay, look here... I really imagine that from a functional point of view it's awesome... but how practical will that exposed stanchion be? Doesn't anyone worry about that being smashed and scratched like crazy?
