  1. Oh no, remember I could not get a job, so...... I became a taxi driver at high speed, you need very little quilification for this job..........so, please remove me from your "you should know better' list,I WILL disapoint you.....sorry hi-jack off :-)
  2. Lol,man I like the way you think !
  3. Great ! Enjoy.
  4. "105 is very underrated and performs well.If you are weak on the climbs get a compact" Listen to the man,he knows what he is talking about ! Hello B, you well there in the cold ?
  5. Did your actual RD bend and broke(snap) off? How did this happen? I am not a Shimino user myself, but the 105 has been around for ages and is a very good and reputable groupset,so I would not just dump the whole groupset, unless you suffer from what most of us"cyclist'suffer from is constantly spend money on new and the latest and greatest equipment. Your tripple crankset is actually a very handy and nice thing to have on your bike and you can fit any other RD upgrade with your present groupset, but make sure you buy a med (sorry, wrong) long cage RD if you do continue using your triple crankset. If you currenty have a high cadence(which is what we all aim for) the a compact crank is ideal.....best of both worlds, I have been using a compact crank on my road bikes now for about 5 years and will never go standard crank again( but hey I am not going to win any race , do I hear the testosterone littered guys saying.............moffie) well who cares, they have never helped my going uphill.By the quick glance of your length, you will need a 172.5mm crank lenght even so much more if you say you aim and have a high candence. I see you mention Shimano and Sram, don't forget ,there are other real groupsets out there too . OK hat on my head, jacket in my hand,I am out of here !! Good luck with your repair.

  11. I thought this thread was about CWC tour that is starting today, now I see it's about men ad women and the fac that this tour is men only, looks like I have missed something here. If this happened to be a all women tour I would have also wished them a lekka and safe tour..... now this whole thread turned upside down,in good old hub fasion?

  19. I would requiste the parents to sign a indemnity form,as when things go pear shape, friendship does not become part of the money issue. I had done so with my son's friends that came with on holidyas to the farm and ride motorbike quadbike etc,and trust me,they came off and did get hurt at times, but never had issues with it. Not a nice thing, but the'reasonable parent'will fully understand why you do that.
  20. That's a very nice road train on and though it's highway, there is very little traffic on tha road and is it a pleasure to ride. Pitty about how the scimbags and rubbish of this country always find something good like this and turn it into profit for them......shoot the mothers...dead,that's my humble opinion on this.
  21. Eish, sorry to hear that, hope you get better soon!
  22. Why you did'nt sleep well TNT1? Little one perhaps?
  23. I was very much into raod racing, but note anymore.... Now I just ride my MTB at events.....much nicer than 'having to show you my new expensive bike ad btw,my new cycling gear too'.
  24. If you think Vodacom can't spell, you must check the 'Brits',they have a clothing chain called "****" now how's that for bad spelling man Lol !
