  1. I have cable tied a 2nd case onto the back of my layback post. Works for me. Lost a bottle once down a rocky section but otherwise hundreds
  2. Oi. What's wrong with Fortuners. :huh Every man deserves to have a bakkie but still dig my Fortuner.
  3. Haibo. What happens when all the positive charge runs out and the negative ions start increasing your pH. All that alkalinity going to upset your harmony, and you going to crash your bike. . Maybe that's when you need a new one??? Or maybe a different colour.
  4. I pay for a family of 5 so I know. Bank on all in 1k per good race, incl entry fees , petrol, spares, juice, lunch and a beer. Not complaining, my family loves it and I love them loving it, but just means we don't do every race. Some I'll go to on my own and some we just bypass altogether. All about supply and demand and as customers of the events we choose which we want to do. No beef with the race that charges more, I look at what it offers then decide. All good.
  5. Proper musician that boy. " the bigger the cushion, the better the pushin......". Named my cat buttrash after one of his songs

    France 2011

First time I ever saw snow was in Switzerland. First day of ski school, dude heard we were saffas, could surf and ride skateboards, so basically straight up the slopes and by the afternoon could operate. Takes a few more days to get it properly but then you are away, can ski down any slope and go anywhere ( just depends how fast). My wife absolutely loves it, would go every year if we could afford it......

Not to that exact valley but over the mountain . Been to Austria a few times and to Italy and Switzerland. If you enjoyed the mtb there, skiing will blow your mind. Full day of skiing followed by a few hours at apreski pubs on the slopes as sun goes down. V v special. It Italy we skied at Sestrierre, same place as the TDF went through this year.

Cracker pictures bru. Looks weird to see all the lifts and tracks and mountains with no snow. Do yourself a favor and go back there in winter , without yr bike and a set of skis or a snowboard under your arm. Rocks.

    Rider down

That is a fast section and def a bit of bar weaving at pace. The left hand switchback after that are also bit naaasty, often see skiddies where ous have lost it there..... Sorry about h2h but at least you can drink beer while the rest are suffering up sunshine

    Rider down

Sorry bru. Sucks. Just take it easy.
  13. Usually 2 750 ml bottles is plenty for me for 60ks. Even then I find the sweet stuff gives me tummy cramps if I have too much, then can't have anything. Now trying 32gi, seems better. Chow cheddars and superCs.
  14. Slight wobble at those speeds and you're going to bleed. Properly.
  15. I've had my ex8 for two years. Love it. The suspension system is awesome and climbs like a mamba. Just make sure you get right size.
  16. Greg I have done the tubeless conversion on the original wheel set on my ex 8 and they have been hundreds. Now on crossmarks but enjoyed the bontrager xdx on them as well.
  17. Don't think there's a right answer for everyone. I put 2.1 crossmark lust on front and back before S2C this year and loved them. Fast on the flats and climbs and magic for me on the singletrack. I'm not going to scare anyone with my single track speed however... Struggled in the mud a bit last weekend but I would have struggled with tractor tyres.
  18. Hey Def I have riden an EX8 for the last 2 years and I love it. You wont be sorry bru. I am 1.78 tall and bought a virtual 17.5. At the time the bikes came with a virtual and real size which was a bit confusing and I really stressed about what size to get and read opinions from ous all over that varied. In the end I got smaller of the 2 mediums, changed the headtube height and put on a layback seat post, and its been the bomb. Done me proud for 2 years and going strong. Been meaning to cut the bars a bit narrower but havent done that yet. Good luck.
