  1. Came past that way with my mtb. Was at circle at about 07:15. Had an idiot almost knocking me on Voortrekker just after Sunrise circle turnoof. Driving older Audi A4 Navy Blue. tried to hauld in but think he turned into a side road between houses... thought nogal a cleat against a door or two would be nice. This forum been getting me bit aggro with some recent events. There was an accident on Voortrekker just before the Saltriver bridge. Nice tailback. Cycled nicely past it Hope cyclist is ok.

    Ice Toolz

Look at the following.. Manufactured from Chrome-Vanadium is good (Gedore is made from that and is fairly good tools unless you wanna spend serious bucks.) Look at tools that give a Lifetime Warranty, that's usually a good indication that they back their product. Ya, Rather buy one good tool per month. Serious injuries will occure from the cheap stuff.
  4. Especially during a night ride.... You hear them nicely
  5. Some of these hub are designed like this, my Tune Hubs are noisy, running it with carbon wheels and frame enhanced the noise. Had some riders in my group say they know when I'm chasing them.. I smaaaak it... Might be wrong but isnt the Chris King hubs also quite noisy?? Dont change it. Its unique
  6. I use to have one too. mine was slighty smaller than the normal on, the fork broke on the one side when one of the puppils at school pushed another onto my bike while it was standing in the bikestand. Couldnt find the right lenth fork for it at LBS in Durbanville. Fitted the one they (Raleigh) send. From there on I was riding uphill...LOL Fork was slightly longer than the one I had before. But what the hec. Mine was a matelic Blue. Awesome bike, Got stolen in Springs in 1988 when we relocated there.
  7. Try Look Quartz. Few in the range. I have used the cheap one, and recently acquired the top on Carbon TI. They start as little from about R700 up to R2200 (Carbon TI) a pair, service kits avail. Nice float. I bought a set and had a bearing issue, they were replaced without issue. Good Luck.
  8. Buy your self the tool, I have the park tool chain gauge, +/- R100. LBS can order if they dont have. Dont rely on other for what you can do yourself.

  23. Hi, what tipe of bike do you have, frame, components and age? Why not use it? Since you enjoy it and you dont seem to complain about pain that would occure from riding a HT. In my opinion, if you have a bike why not do some upgrades? a Bike at 20k you wount get a new highend bike. But with 20k you might fit a good shock and nice set of wheels which make a worlds diffrence.
  24. and a nice stricker finishes it off the best.... lol
