i do agree with you there. But after I had to find my best friend a home because of my change in circumstances I have learned not to judge too quickly.

thats interesting. I was considering it but all the reviews I read that compared the Ktm, Gs, Yamaha and the Triumph said that the latter two were weak both on road and off road. BMW being better on road than Ktm but Ktm being better off road that GS. In the end I figured I would spend more time on road than off so I went with the new water cooled Gs but every time I hear the sound of the Ktm I get a tingle in my pants

Twombles - My wife and i rode a tandem for the first time at Sun City Race some 4 years ago. Basically test rode the bike in the parking lot to make sure setup was ok and 30min later we took part in the race. Really loved it. From what i understand tandems can make a marriage or break it. I think in our case it was the former!

Let me put it to you this way. I was staying in Pinetown at the time and we lived in a house with fairly average burglar bars. I woke one morning to hear my sister scream with a african vaselined up sliding through the burglars. Opening my bedroom door and the dog went nuts on him. Good few chunks of flesh were missing from him. The minute the little fellow was off our property she turned around and came back as if nothing had happened. And to say that they get grumpy as they get older. I think its important that they are treated as elderly dogs. They are no more grumpy than any other breed. German Shepards are also known to get grumpy. Treat them like old dogs and they will be fine. you cant expect a 10 year old dog to be fine with your toddler pulling hair and jumping on them all the time.

INcredibly clever. I had one that was given to me when my uncle and aunt that moved to NZ. She thought herself to jump out the window through the burglar bars if she wanted to go outside and "make" and then come back in. Very affectionate and very caring. She also once went missing. We think she was stolen. Six months later we hear a scratch on the door and guess who! Also very strong dogs in that they never get sick!

I had the same except i hated the noise they made. Tried organic, metal and nearly everything i could get my hands on. Ended up giving them to a friend.

I have the same predicament. The Wc also has a shorter rear stay. But I also couldn't make up my mind so I decided to put it off for a bit until I could decide.
