I started cycling with my wife towards the end of last year after my marriage nearly fell apart because of my cycling. I read a book call the 5 love languages that basically says that what is important to you must be important to her and vice versa. Also recreational activities done together are important. We entered Sani together and that is our target. Best thing we ever did. Our marriage is now stronger than it has ever been. Yes it does take some strain on my training as she is slower than me but she now has no problem if we ride together and then i go for my ride.
