Question is how does it calculate watts based on heart rate? If you take a relatively fit person compared to an unfit person. Both could be pushing the same heart rate but with completely different power outputs. Don't get me wrong. I am merely asking the question.

I can't give you percentages or figures. I was 112kg at the end of last year. I am now 98kg. What I can tell you is that the difference on climbs is immense. I am also much quicker on the flats. I am roughly the same on the downhills.

Whoa. Easy Tigers. I never said that a shop breaking BB was a warranty issue. The frame is cracked due to the bb being removed and thus the store is going to try and get a warranty done on the frame. How do we know that it was negligence on the part of the store? All i was trying to clarify with the writer was that they had not asked him to claim for anything yet? All the store had requested was proof of purchase. Edit: Tried to do a multi quote there as my response is a response to more than one message.

As far as i understand your mail they have not asked you to claim form your insurance. All they are asking for is your proof of purchase so that they can process a warranty with the supplier for you. This is normal process. Just had a similar thing done with my bike.

I bought a road bike last year when I weighed 112kg also bought a mtb this year. Both of them carbon and the difference is immense. Go for it! You will feel the difference.

i was with Dr Breckon from Morningside. He is brilliant. Works on most of the springboks.

Also had to have a shoulder op to sort out a waterskiing injury. Listen to the doc and take the required time off. I know you will become grumpy if you anything like i was but in the end it is better for you as you heal quicker. To those who have had shoulder injuries etc, don't you find the joint stiff when it is cold? I am seriously struggling this year whenever it is cold my shoulder get sore. (Only had the op done last year MAy)
