  1. who is doing this? I have been watching weather and looks like rain the Friday
  2. This event was a bit underwhelming, I have done about 6 of these - and last year was a gravel travel! No singletrack whatsoever. I have since heard that there are new organizers and route changes as a result. Apparently the one to do now is the Ride Darling event that includes some nice trails.
  3. A bit moist this evening
  4. from what I have heard Nextie is as good as Enve.
  5. I concur, have a great set built by Nick, spoke to someone over the weekend who also has a set for over a year now and he's had no issue. my 55's are fast!
  6. First time on bicycle, was fast but fun !
  7. Easy spin to Jubilee
  8. Anyone else notice the flare on their bars? Wider than usual or optical illusion?
  9. Trek organization and lead out and Milan too good, what a dominant finish for the Italian powerhouse
  10. Always great when companies/brands realize the long term benefits of resolving customer’s issues when they arise and bring about positive experiences. That builds brand loyalty and advocacy. In my experience it’s generally the premium brands that do this , just recently I’ve had a positive outcome on a coffee related product (acaia) that was way out of warranty where they went above and beyond to get me sorted, this leaves a lasting impression and a good one at that.
  11. I rinse mine after every use in shower as well, with the occasional wash in shower as well.
  12. The zone 2 calorie statement, is that for everyone?
  13. You should have a look around, some nice low profile units, that replace jersey pockets if none are available, can go under the shirt as well
  14. Hi All I’m considering the Killarney event, but have never an event of this nature before, let alone, ridden at Killarney, so excuse the dumb questions… How do these events work? I reckon I’m in Cat 3, based on my PPA seeding of 1F. I see this means we ride for 50 minutes?
  15. most likely the latter!
  16. they also make great flattish fanny bags if your jersey does not have pockets. I personally dislike how saddle bags ruin the profile of one's bike.
  17. good good to hear as transferring files afterwards just sounded like a hassle - i will have a look over the weekend. I loaded the app on my Apple TV and did a VERY short spin and it seemed okay
  18. A PROPERLY rolled up tube also takes up less space. i.e. all air removed and wound up nice and tight - makes a difference! But the Maxxis welter / flyweight tubes are also great.
  19. The Garmin connection is news to me, last I heard this wasn't an option.
  20. enough space for food, a pocpac (with tools and tubes etc.) and your phone in jersey pockets? If an additional tube is required - the options shared by Splat are great - or if a Specialized saddle - one of their bandit straps.
  21. Interesting comments, I wonder what the organizers were thinking? I’m sure they will take all the feedback into account though and make the appropriate amendments to future events
  22. Just heard yes thanks , but think it is rimless
