  1. 'At Arlington Cycles you will not be pressured to make hasty decisions you may regret later. Instead, we will offer you a cup of coffee and the chance to chat with us about what you really want to get out of a bike, or leave you to browse at your leisure round our huge dedicated road bike showroom, set in a 12,500sq ft converted warehouse." "At Epic Cycles you will not be pressured to make hasty decisions you may regret later. Instead, we will offer you a cup of coffee and the chance to chat with us about what you really want to get out of a bike, or leave you to browse at your leisure round our huge dedicated road bike showroom, set in a 12,500sq ft converted warehouse." maybe its just coincidence.. their entire blurb straight off UK website.. http://www.epic-cycles.co.uk/aboutus.htm these idiots are dumber than pigsh*t..
  2. more Transact girls... much more!
  3. jet lag could be a big problem, if I remember correctly for westerley travel you need 1.5 days recovery per time zone you cross, canada alone has 5 or 6 time zones. 4 days and your IM could feel like a double IM ! it does look amazing though.. Alp dHuez, probably a better option - more bang for your buck !
  4. I was looking into IM Canada next year (end of Aug), its been moved to Whistler... looks awesome! ..its on the back-burner for now with our first baby on the way did notice that these races overseas sell-out FAST ! you gotta jump right in, otherwise you miss out..
  5. sounds more like a midlife crisis, get over it and carry on training ...
  6. ignorance is bliss.. Evans on their recent win at the Cape Pioneer.. “I began to feel weak. I think the fatigue from the hectic last two weeks caught up with me. Dave had to do all the work and was on the receiving end of some harsh words from me,” grinned Evans. “He was great though. He even offered to carry my bottle to save me some watts! After he’d worked for 65km, with Nico and Gawie not that far behind, I got angry and decided I had to help. We managed to get here first, but it wasn’t easy. Great to end with a stage win though.”
  7. banned for life + community service ! these cheats always just squirm into a hole and you never see them again.. they should be ridiculed in public especially at Spur 20km funrides !

  11. Really...Let's all phone and see how many get through to the CEO for a round table discussion. Welcome to 2012 ! twitter is the only platform to get through to these big corporates.. If the companies believe so avidly in their products THEIR response would have been more mature. If the CEO can only string a few washed out threats in response to valid questions, imagine the calibre of his marketing department !
  12. Andy : " Do you guys have an extra pad for me, I'm leaking.. , and my sister is too far back to get his spare"
  13. I use a 310xt, If you doing IM, battery life is key and at 20 hrs with GPS on, its definitely a good choice. Its accurate + the garmin online software is awesome. it is bulky, I do all my races with the watch in my swim cap. I get an accurate reading for my wayward swims + any watch is in the way when you having a tussle with your salty wetsuit in transition. This year at IM my swim totalled 4.8km, due to sh*t conditions, chatted to at least 5 other guys afterwards and they were all around 5kms for the swim, the point been, they also had watches stuffed in their swim caps too ! They also have a nice quick release kit you can buy, making switching from swim/bike/run easier.. 910xt obviously an upgrade, but there are some good deals on the 310xt ( I bought my watch from "Shop & Ship", the offices are in Rivonia) http://www.bidorbuy.co.za/item/31134949/Garmin_Forerunner_310XT_With_Premium_HRM.html my 2c..
