That does not sound Ok, but whats worse is when slow riders ride 2 or even three abreast on the cycle paths around blouberg. Happens very often. They act so surprised and shocked when i shout at them to give way. Sometimes they keep riding 2/3 abreast and don't bother to move. i've seen a crash or two from people not moving and guys riding around the incompetent fools.

Actually i think those bars aren't clip on. Which only makes matter worse

Matric finals are next week I'll beg the parents some more, really want to do this race ... If it starts at 6;30am - If i take 2h30min to race + 1 hour(including collecting medal ect) cycle home.. I can be home at 10am to study. Seems fine.

Had to stop to get water with 30km to go, and rode the last 30km by myself. Could have gotten a sub 5hour if i rationalized my water better and stayed with the group...

Do you think the D bunch will be big ? last year they merged the C-E groups. I'm seeded D. Can't decide if i should start in my seeded bunch or fall back to a DC team that are riding together (outriders)

This is true, but the winner will be from a large group so in wind it won't affect their time that much. If i start in D or drop down to join a DC team, it will never be the size of the A-B group.

I don't mind wind that much, as long as it slows down the winning time. I'm not sure about the route, what affect will a SE have on us ? Will we have a head wind on the way back i'm guessing ? Looking forward to Sunday

A guy did a similar thing to me. Shot past me like i wasn't even moving. Then he started panting like crazy and stopped pedaling. It's annoying when people think to much of themselves. You see it often on the cycle lane.

Hey I'm looking for a lift from Cape Town to the Karoo 2 Coast Mountain bike race in Uniondale. I'm 18 and can't drive yet. Why kind of Blue Top ? I was riding that day in blue at that area. Defiantly never said those words. Small chance its me though, magic shine + Two laser tail-lights... Doubt it was dropped Theirs way to many commuters riding fancy bikes, without any lights. Gets pretty dangerous with all the mist.

I have the same problem with regards to my Garmin not being able to upload automatically. i have to copy the last ride i did in activities and then paste it. Is it fixable ? My dads Garmin also does the same thing, we got ours together. Should i take it there ?

All my bikes are locked up in my bedroom, guarded by a very aggressive kitten. With a German Shepard outside my door... I think he sleeps there just for the cat.
