  1. My Garmin isn't connecting to my computer.
  2. For some reason my Garmin isn't being recognized on my computer any more, anyone know what i could do ?
  3. Done 400km and something all ready but my Garmin won't upload. Tried everything, not the software, i think it's the unit its self...
  4. Anyone doing a 4 hour + ride tomorrow and Sunday ? preferably over 120km.

  6. Rode my uncles bike once, he had his bikes brakes different to what i'm used to. He had Back as left and front as right, i was ridding and need to brake quickly to avoid something (A walker) ended up flying over the bars into him...

  8. Just changed from my stranded Scott grips to these. Made a huge difference because my hands kept getting numb. Getting blisters now though.

  10. Thanks. since I've started cycling this year my body fat has fluctuated a lot. Been 14% then 11% then 13% now 10%. Enjoying my riding a lot, hoping my knees won't give way before 25
  11. What is the Optimal BMI and such for a cyclist ? Here's my current details : Weight - 61.8 kg Muscle mass - 31.3 kg Body fat mass - 6.2 kg Body fat % -10 % BMI -21.38 I am 17 years old. 170 cm tall. Does fat not affect Performance and recovery ? Thanks.
  12. I'm keen for a ride from Forways area ? Maybe also for the 2-3 laps of Suikerbosrand, how many km's would that be ?
  13. I spoke to a guy today who told me to avoid the Spruit completely if i'm riding by myself. When i did it the 3 times over the last two days i was dodging people including runners and dogs. I only have done The first section of the spruit starting from zoo lake, is that side just safe and the other areas dangerous ? Wanting to venture further down tomorrow, probably will go late around 2pm more or less.

  17. Quick question. If i'm coming from the zoo lake side and start the spruit from around there, how many km's does it go on for ? i remember that it goes to this long steep up hill and i used to turn back at that point, does it go on for much more ? i think i will try it out tomorrow, just worried about riding it alone ? and doing a 60 min /50 cadence interval

  23. Hey I was going to post the exact same post today. Did my first ride today there, awesome place. A cycling heaven. Met Daryl Impey, Robbie Hunter and a lot of other pro's. I wouldn't be able to tell you routes because i don't know the roads names. Tomorrow i will be doing 2 and a bit loops so around 120km. Starting very late (8 am) as my dad doesn't feel like getting up early.
  24. New shoes to go with my new MTB. I will post a photo of it later, too lazy to do it right now . Had to get a lot of cycling stuff lately.
