This might be in Bots. They come after the fruit you have in your cooler. Have had this happen to use when in the camping in the delta. But I would never let that happen with elephants from RSA say Kruger or Pilansberg. Not a cooking chance I will get close to an ellie in RSA.

The downside is there will now be people entering who will want the finishing medal at any cost. Including bending, morphing, altering, breaking the rules, doing anything to get to the finish. As this ride gets bigger, this notion of "not in the ethos of unsupported" is going to mean less and less. And so the rules will get more complicated and the policing will have to go up. Personally if I am riding in the middle of nowhere, and there are support cars racing up and down past me, then I am no longer in the middle of nowhere, but on a road. And of course someone can help me fix my bike, give me water etc etc etc. The Munga is growing up ! The rules will have to evolve as well.

Hey if you have time, would be great to meet. And that wine bar is ok. Used to be much better. The wine selection is not as good as it used to be. They have moved into the beer and cocktails more over the recent while. But their quiz nights are packed full. The restaurant next door is also way cool !

Here is a kid wanting to chase his dreams and instead of letting things get him down he made a plan and got on with it. WHat a great report of getting it all to work for a year. Well flippen done !! Sure he some help getting a job as a traveling rep (an assumption on my part), but he still deserves much credit. Full marks to his folks to skill him that he needs to take responsibility for himself and his ambitions.
