I have 3 pairs of assos .Mille and uno comfort level the same ,but mille will last longer .Recently acquired vermarc bibs and I am impressed with them also .Vermarc is a tight fitting short ,so don,t order the smaller size for tight fit .If you are 36 ,then order 36 .they will fit tightly .To answer your Q .Yes! assos is worthwhile !

I am 194 cm with long legs .I am riding a Xl on all my bikes .The effective top tube length is more important .If you can see your front hub halfway crossing the stem with the seat in the middle your size is fine .If you are riding all those events and not going over the bars more than your share ,you cannot be far out .I think you are just at the upper limit of L ,just as I am with an XL .I don,t think a larger frame will make you faster

This event will keep you pedalling for 4 to 5 hours .Start and finish is flattish but the rest can be pretty challenging .Enjoyable route !

Last year 3h20 on mtb.This year I was on roadbike and there was a silver pyga rider keeping up with us on the N14 .I noticed that he was not even on his highest gear.Next year on SS !

Last year i was as fit and strong as i will ever be and rode hard on mtb for a 3h20 from MM with no help at all .I knew i cannot go faster unless with bunch help .This year on road bike i rode just as hard but without the traffic and hardly any help for 2h54 .I have earned my time the hard way

Also started in I.Rode hard on the N1 ,no real bunch and rode alone until N14 where we made a small bunch that held together to the turnoff .From there it was survival ,battling with cramps ,trying to hang onto anybody ,but they were also suffering .It was hard work to earn a 2h54

Hallo F .Had a good race !Did most of the work again .No real bunch in I group .Everybody around me was well mannered.Rode mostly with mix of G and I group .Cramps got me again at 2h40min 15 seconds as usual .Now to look for a charity to donate to!
