  3. At Crater Cruise they said that a UCI rule says no helmet cameras, Mp3 playesr etc. 'unneccesary equipment' I am now donners scared to moer down in front of someone at a race in case it becomes a case of 'international ridicule' as it would be in my case ....

  9. OK so a 'nubbin' question how many of the 'actual' riders on here have had theirs or even know if theirs has been 'faced'?
  10. 'BB shell faced' perhaps that refers to if I got pissed
  11. At the risk of being 'flamed' I have never had a BB shell 'faced' and I have never had a problem that I am aware of that was caused by this ...... so the question is how important is this really
  12. "2BLISS MTB TIRES There's a reason why our MTB pro team rides 2Bliss tires-they want a tire that can handle the low pressure they run (sometimes 25 psi) for durability and better traction, but they also want light weight. Specialized 2Bliss blends the best of both worlds. It's not your standard tubetype (TT), which is lightweight, but can fall short on puncture resistance and "burps" when used with sealant. And it's not your standard tubeless (UST) that reducespinch flats and the need for sealant, but often adds 200+ grams. 2Bliss is a whole new design that uses TT casing with a special UST bead, replacing the standard UST heavy backing with strategically placed rubber only around the bead. The result is a perfect tire for the discerning MTB rider: low pressure allowance, no burping and fewer grams than its forefathers. Most of our MTB tires come in the revolutionary 2Bliss configuration, except for Sport models (DH, Armadillo, Armadillo Elite and 29" tires excluded); TT and UST are no more. If you want to run our 2Bliss with a tube, be our guest. Without a tube, just grab a batch of our AirLock® Pro sealant, and you're well on your way to a longer, better mountain ride, again and again " I guess 2Bliss does need sealant then
  13. Whatever you do, do not let Dangle near them cans of beans
  14. The only time I recall this happening was when you challenged him with your 6 year old barefoot son
  15. If I had a penny for every time someone said 'Dangle, I'd be happy to show you what real riding is some time' I'd be a rich man - funny how no one ever does though
  16. Ox dude you should know I am a dirt roadie
  17. (not a good pic I know ...) but I guess you mean these 'garings' from a Gatorskin? Happens when they get older ..... I just pull them off, never been offended that my LBS didn't
  18. Seen that enough times but there's not much evidence of this - see the cellphone networks for example ....
