  2. I remember that incident, myself and my boet did the Vets and Ladies tour in 2006. Fortunately as usual we were not at the 'sharp end of the field' If memory serves me right the rider got up and finished the race .....

  11. You sure it was just the pedals - even with other pedals you have to twist the foot and take it out (in time!) ....
  12. I just went from a 600 bar to a 660 on my 29r ....... Was strange at first and I tended to 'over correct' in the twistys but as I'm getting used to it it's fine!

  15. I am a BIG guy and ride an 80mm Skareb on one of my bikes (it is the air one), there is some irritating flex but never been scared it breaks ....
  16. My Dad owned this exact car when we were kids (1978 Holden Monaro GTS) .... was the coolest car in the street then and that V8 had a mean sound! Still in the extended family and being restored at the moment. Only pic I got unfortunately
