  1. OK lets see, Page 1 there are 1 or 2 'tips' Pages 2-5 Mark and Moab off to the lost city to get a room, manfrog chased them away and 1Hill was scared he loses his nads in the cold some or other time .... Yip Scottman that about covers it.
  2. This my friends is useless information:- 'The dot over the letter ?i? is called a tittle'
  3. Just wondering about all the muttering about calorie count issues ........ What do you use it as an indicator against? How much food you need to eat to 'recover' what you used up? Added to all your other activities for the day (walking, breathing, working, vacuuming, mowing the lawn) in total vs calorie intake to balance food intake to remain constant, lose or gain (God forbid ....) weight?
  4. Are retro MTB's allowed ..... circa 2002 and I've still got it! Not with that stuff on though, specially not those bar ends
  5. For those who can't be bothered to upload your CS200 data online, it is possible to download via SonicLink to SportTracks with a plugin, works a charm! http://www.zonefivesoftware.com/SportTracks/Plugins/plugin_detail.php?id=72
  6. As long as that dog can keep running who lives up on that plot near the cellphone tower in Walkerville .........
  7. As LittleBen says 'if you're ever stuck all alone in a forest at least you can have scrambled eggs if you got the Candys'
  8. That is right. I can not remember when last my TV was so flooded with coverage of the Leadville 100. Or the Cape Epic for that matter, what was it an hour highlight with 20 min's of advertising ...... WOW!
  9. having ridden one for a while' date=' it's surprisingly stable in the technical stuff. your bum is so far off the back of the bike, that it unloads the front a bit...sure, it's still sketchy, but not as bad as you'd imagine.[/quote'] Was this not on that 'thing'
  10. Nice tips Am but 'take your bottle out first, hold it slightly out' always makes me think I am being offered a drink by that person
  11. Some of you may recall 'casci' an old time hubber who has 'migrated' to the 'land of the long white cloud'. Well here's his 'Moser' SS he sent me today! Keeping in mind the man's a graphic designer so hence the photo quality......
  12. I wonder what club he was from ........
  13. Probably a noobie that doesn't know the roadie code
  14. I must agree with Jules here but having said that unless you can identify the person and somehow he/she finds out what is being said (assuming he/she is not a hubber) even the ranting here has no effect ....... makes the ranter feel better, provides some hub excitement for 5 or 6 pages and then goes nowhere. Now if you had a photo of the accused thats way different of course! My Zim $ for today
  15. There you are https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum_posts.asp?TID=24545&KW=ghetto !
  16. In my case, if it's that bad that I need to lower my saddle it doesn't matter cause I'll probably be walking/sliding down on my a$$ anyway
  17. Often when I have read tips or advice regarding steep tricky downhills it is suggested to lower your seat. Just wondered how many people actually do that? This is quite obviously aimed at 'normal' XC/trail types and not the DH/Hog 'free' riding or 'all' mountain types
  18. Not if you're going away for the weekend
  19. No it probably just means your mates are slow in passing it on
