Looking for some 'short/mini' V brake calipers if anyone has or knows where I could get them please?

My mate uses pedals because he can easily move them between his bikes... but if you only have 1 I'd agree totally

Mostly luck when I get a pic like that 🤪 Today reminded me when my brother and I were riding XC races sort of 'seriously' ... When faced with particularly technical sections or asked about wheelies, bunny hops or manuals he would generally say 'I don't do Circus tricks' 😂 Blimmin 🤡

Another one of my 'I need a front wheel for a single speed' let's see what I've got lying around .... 36 hole hub, 48 hole tandem rim and lots of odd spokes and a few hours later 😎 Small detail but I should have paid attention to where the valve will be though 🤔

Must say they don't bother me, having said that I'm not very social ... Riding out alone it means I hear them coming and either I can get away or they come zooming past!

For it to be a lifetime activity you have to love the doing and not just the achieving! Having said that you can't improve what you don't measure 🤪 - man I just love the gadgets and numbers 😎 Keeping the old man out, body and mind 😁

My son got a set of these cable to hydraulic calipers for his mullet gravel bike .... they look pretty ok and he said the feel and braking is good SO Got my wife to order me a set on her next order .... fitted and yip they do as they say on the advert, my #1 gravel so don't ride it that much besides at the few races I do and an occasional long training ride. They take the older XT type pads with the 'hook' ... should be all good For 540 ZA rondts let's see 😎

Day 31/31 (507/500) - Single Speed December 😎 As my very first 'big boss' Hans Eberle, a man amongst men, would have said 'Alles klaar ja!' Met my goals, maybe not as far or as quick as some but I am happy that I am able to do it and maybe more important still want to do it 😎 It's not a chore 😁 I said there'd be a giant cookie!

Without taking away from the seriousness of this thread, flip some of you must be an absolute hoot at a braai.... #SMK

My goal for December pretty much done ... 1 ride and 12k's to go tomorrow and yes there will be coffee and a giant cookie (oh and a different changed bike but still SS of course) 😁 Must say these 2 bikes never missed a beat, the gearing made it pretty challenging but SS is not an excuse it's a choice 😎

Just slapped together this 'rescue frame' that was initially intended as merely a decorative item on the wall in my bike room! My carbon fiber repair mate had other ideas 😀 .... loads of challenges to get it up and running at the lowest possible cost. Finished it this afternoon, a test ride or 2 over the next days to make sure it's all good. Just in time to be pressed into service for the SS Rapha 500 😎
