  2. My Son and I ride from Rooihuiskraal most Sunday mornings, destination Groenkloof. Normally at a pace between 19 and 20 km per hour. Total distance is between 60 and 70km. You can hook up with us if you want (that is 1 day a week covered)

  5. I used this calculator to workout seat height http://www.ebicycles.com/, then did this: Sitting on the bike, position one foot forwards so the crank is parallel to the floor at 3 o’clock. Hold a length of string with a weight on the end at the front of your knee. The string should drop down in line with the pedal axle. Adjust if necessary. That adjustment was all I needed
  6. I had something similar last week, I dropped my saddle 5mm, moved my cleats a few mm back and moved my saddle forward a few mm. I had pain on the inside of the left knee and outside of the right, only while cycling, the change to the bike setup fixed it.

  17. most of us get the frame directly from on-one, or I think hairy on the forum can source them for you
  18. I had a similar problem, I started giving myself 1 day recovery after every ride, problem solved and I started getting faster on the climbs. Try increase your recovery time see if that helps

  21. finally finished my Scandal, just need to trim some cables
  22. i used wire conti mountain king, converts pretty well, but sidewalls are ultra thin. trick is to go to the garage and unscrew the brass nozzle off the gauge handle. Then wrap some paper around the base of your valve, put the end of the gauge pipe directly over the valve. The paper will seal the connection, more air flowing so you can inflate the tire quicker. I did try kenda small block 8 with out success

  24. tell you what I have done close to 2000km with the clark brakes, with zero problems. Bleeds easy, stops me quickly, and quiet. I got them for R800 on special at CRC
