Dear Stringbean, at the risk of BigH appearing and calling me coarse let me say - you are the NOB! I am a granny, I help my partner run his business, I do part time daycare to my grandkids, getting my son through matric, supporting my daughter and son in law with as much babysitting as possible while they train for ironman. I ended up GC 464 - pretty piss poor in your eyes I am sure but I made cut off with 90 minutes plus to spare most days except for where severe mechanicals and a really bad crash spat me out to the back of the field. So I don't deserve to be there - please climb off the high horse you are attempting to sit on you ignorant, arrogant little person! I trained as hard as I could and to the best of my limited ability clearly but I finished and I have the medal and a whole lot of pride to go along with that.
