  1. Yup. I thought that after 20 years I was immune. Then some A-Hole comes down the road with my name on the fender - 5 days in ICU and learning to walk again aint fun. That's why I don't ride anymore - try and be as safe as you can guys.
  2. I rest my case............always someone up for an OLD debate
  3. I think we've all experienced inconsideration from motorists - as cyclists and as motorists. As Spinnekop would say.........Pop Pop - Sit back and enjoy!!
  4. WH no problem - I tried to open the post marked Taxi Justice...........Can anyone else open it?
  5. Don't have a problem if admin judges something inapropriate - but then remove it, don't tell hubbers that only certain members may view certain posts. I don't post anywhere near as many posts as most, so probably miss a lot -but if you don't want people to view it, get rid of it. Don't make people feel that they are being excluded. Point made.
  6. Meaning???
  7. Sufficient permission to view this page! Anybody else encounter this when trying to open a topic? Or is it a conspiracy against me?
  8. I agree, probably too expensive for even the most hardcore poser or weight weeny. I would suspect that there is a fourth bolt concealed behind the crank arm.
  9. Fair comment Fiasm
  10. Bring on the third round so we get to see the bit of fluff!!
  11. Very nice Gary, just stay away from speeding cars - I know from experience that carbon Bianchis don't bounce too well!!
  12. Drink wine - then you can justify a "bling" Campag corkscrew.
  13. Very nice!
  14. The fact is that Coolheat are a wholesale distributor who don't supply directly to the public - or at least that is my understanding. They supply the shops - the shops supply you. Can't buy a car from the factory, you buy it from the dealer.
  15. Come on Jackster.........you can't type "Naai" on a family forum!! Hope you and Gill are well.

    Ryan Cox

Unbelievably bad news. R.I.P. Ryan, one of the true gentlemen of the sport and a great champion.
  17. The only problem Trackz is your diction - it's "AN MTB"
  18. Well done to BW - everything of ther best in July. On the theme of what bike is better than the next - to paraphrase a famous TDF winner "?t's not about the bike - it's about what you take!" But then, riding an American frame is the equivalent of riding Japanese equiment - to be avoided if you are serious about cycling.
  19. Contact Beverley Spires on bev@isa.co.za
  20. National track champs are in Gauteng this year at Hector Norris Park.
  21. Great news!!! Wishing Greg a speedy recovery.
  22. Hope your brother and all other injured persons make a rapid and full recovery. There were a few irresponsible riders in the tandem bunch on Sunday and I'm personally suprised that there weren't more incidents.
  23. The tandem crash looked horrific, happened next to us but I couldn't tell you any details. I heard later that the stoker was quite badly hurt - any updates?
  24. Agree - I just couldn't stretch the budget that far....so I'm convincing myself that my Chorus gruppo is better value!
  25. Chorus is better value for money.
