  1. Yeah going to give the Mentadent a try thanks Trillian. It is an abrasive so might work. Was also told to try car polish. I am as worried about the implications every time I ride in that kind of mud. I think the root cause is the paint and that will need to be redone by the boys in PMB. Sigh...
  2. Here's another view:
  3. Tried the Clean Green both ways, no luck. The frames are painted, but you might have a point on the clearcoat. The paint does look like it isn't "shiny". Like a dull surface.
  4. Also, other white bikes there did NOT shoe this kind of staining. I looked at a white Giant and a white Spesh, but neither was turning beige...
  5. Wow, quick reaction thanks guys! Question 1 - Wash with diluted Clean Green and cold water. Question 2 - Just like my white car, I expected that dirt would wash off. Question 3 - JMac, yeah, that is going to be my next resort but was hoping I could sort it myself. Troubling thing is that mine isn't the only white Zula with these stains at SabieX...
  6. So here's a new one. My white Zula is now stained and I can't get the stains out. The red Sabie mud seems to have actually gone INTO the paint! Scary thing is, I spoke to another Zula rider at the race and he had the same issue. My white Ritchey stems, posst etc are unaffected, even my white Gobi came clean, but not the frame... Have a look at these stains and if someone has advice please HELP!!
  7. Wonderful spot. If anyone is there over Christmas and feels like a ride give me shaout!
  8. so take them off when not in use... That thing isn't going to make any difference once you have a couple of bikes sticking up in the airflow.

  13. or just turn a positive angle stem upside down?
  14. Voted for the cranks, but to be completely fair I have also broken Alu ones. Also have broken a carbon MTB frame, but again, also broke alu rear triangle. My All-metal Zula (nice pimp build...) is lighgter than my all-tupperware Genius Ltd. And it also cost WAAAAY less.
  15. make that 2 X RP 23. I will whip Nick's shock off tomorrow.
  16. 1 X Rp23 coming right up.
  17. I have both. Garmin dirty and dusty from use every day, Polar dirty and dusty from having been in the back of the cupboard for a year or more. They really don't compare. Besides, has anyone actually said out loud that it is REALLY naff to wear your Polar as a watch?
  18. Yeah that new piece next to the bridge is nice, and no, it isn't hiking trail...
  19. Thanks Rock! My previous bike was all black, so the 2 make a very pretty pair. (And yes, it is a MISSION to keep this clean)
  20. My Zula is finished! Thanks for the sparkly wheels JB...
