  1. both great hubs, but the HOPE has the bling baby!
  2. works fine. I ride a bike set up like that.
  3. to quote Oli Beckingsale: "I’ll leave it up to the sponsors to decide what they want me to ride.” http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/article/the-truth-behind-29ers-28684

Isn't that a kick in the geneticals?
  5. even the MTB's look a bit bargain-basement...
  6. Those 960 XTR cranks are fantastic, especially if stick some Middleburn Slickshift rings on.
  7. Yip, that hanger looks like it is trying to make whoopee with your cluster. Fortunately is is a MUCH cheaper fix than a rear der!
  8. I WANT ONE! Can I be one of those lucky "fellow anti powerbalance hubbers"?
  9. What does it weigh?
  10. Not sure I would take chance riding this though... http://www.tririg.com/galleries.php?id=1035_Worlds_Lightest_Bike&num=1
  11. Zula + RP23 fpr me also. Climb with it OPEN except when the surface is really smooth.
  12. You need to go and do the ride from Petrus se Brand. It starts at Diepwalle Forestry Station and ends at the Garden of Eden where you started the HArkerville ride.
  13. Actually Chris is one of the nicest guys around and you need to suck a chill pill. CWC brings us some of the best deals you'll see.
  14. How much is 4% of the price?
  15. now that is very very nice! Happy miles dude!
  16. It will be a respray rather than a replacement. The problem only became apparent after the frames were already out there, so no foul on Morewood's part. The proof of a great brand is not in the purchase, it is in the support. Also, scott, no amount of spray and cook/silicon/Q20 sprayed on your bike can protect it if the paint hasn't been sealed. (And I won't force BigH to ride my beautiful white bike.)
  17. Just had a chat to Andre at Rush Sports and I'll send the frame down to them in early-Jan to get it sorted. There was a particular batch where the clearcoat didn't bond to the paint properly and this is one of them. Thank you Andre.
  18. I agree with GTRacing... Will be chatting to the nice men in PMB tomorrow and will give everyone feedback. Thank you very much to all of you for the advice and input. A painful thing this...
  19. Yeah Mackie, you are right. I have emailed them and will wait for their view before I take the belt sander to it... Even if it doesn't become a warranty issue, I just want my bike sorted.
  20. Guys thank you all very much for the advice. I will be trying (most) all of them in the next couple of days. I have emailed Morewood for some advice also. At the end of the day all I want is my Tighty Whitey back... I will let you all know what they say.
  21. nah, bottle cage just didn't get any attention once the panic set in! All the add-on bits came clean including my white Fizik Gobi seat. Frame, not so much.
  22. Team races operate under the premise that they need less support because the teams are more self-sufficient and hence save a bit of cost on the crews etc. SabieX Lite offered a Solo option this year, but that ws piggy-backed off the 2 team events.
  23. OK, the polish suggestion is similar to another I got. Will get some tomorrow. What does concern me is that if the paint is staining like this, it is clearly going to happen again?
  24. A cunning illusion!
  25. Smiles you funny boy. I too, am a medium. A dirty one, but a medium nonetheless.
