Sometimes U'll act without thinking because your loved one's wellbeing are foremost in your mind .... nevermind your own safety.. I had to that's why I say this !!! On the other hand often I want to drive over a guy on a very expensive mountain bike knowing he probably stole it or hurt someone for it. It grinds me to see these oke's on bikes they don't deserve .... I think its time to start ambushing them, beat the S%&*^&t out of him and take the bike ... They do it without concern for U anyway and at any cost !!!!

I watched this race start to finish - there is no way Lange "beat" Armstrong - he mentioned on the news that he beat him... However if Lance really wanted to win he'd do it hands down against the local "Pro's" The only thing that makes this win significant is the fact the LA was in the break and riding for the finish. Lange did well but sorry he never outdid Armstrong.

I bought one of these bright green tops at Builders Warehouse a few months ago (the one's construction workers wear) & had something similar to this printed on the back in large black letters - That's what I ride with - including lights etc ... either stop riding on the road & do MTBiking or just do it on the Indoor Trainer. !!! Following on the previous topic on Heart Rate - I have a question or 2: 1) Is it possible that your resting heart rate can fluctuate from 32pbm to 48bpm - "4 morning's in a row?" Scenario: U have been training 6 days a week, resting 1 day doing NOTHING PHYSICAL - also stressed out at times with work, upcoming race etc. I checked my Heart Rate monitor's settings & they seem right Are these factors that will influence fluctuation like that ??? What other explanations are there that can explain fluctuating resting heart rate ?? "DT"

My resting H/R is 32bpm - going uphill I reach say 140bpm also considering if I push it then I'll get 160bpm...........I weigh 76kg's My friends resting H/R is around 50bpm...going uphill he maxes out just over 180bpm and at times straights its the same....he weighs: 86kg's I can't make a comparison - I climb more, train harder and I ride in front for 95% of our rides pulling him. Do the "PRO'S" here in SA ever do proper stage races - One day races like they have in Europe etc???? U know like the Classics - racing 280km's Maybe I'm wrong but I've never seen it done - are all their races the local one's at say 100km distance at most ??? "DT"

Anyway seriously now I take these points BUT I have to add what about motorists - the Sunday morning, drunk ass-coming from a club after a joll motorist that almost took us out yesterday morning - YES WE WERE RIDING 2 ABREAST on a broad road - fortunately we saw it coming - but what about the next time ?? Nah - I have to say both parties have good & bad one's on the road. Some cyclists & motorists just don't give a damm "DT"
