Anybody get their group/start times etc.?

Anybody doing this or have more info? I can't find a route or profile etc.

They should stick to these concepts rather.

And just make sure the parts are all compatible with one another if you're buying them individually...

Big up to the organizers, well marshaled, water points didn't seem to run out of drink, even had bananas. Can of coke and bottle of water at the finish. I reckon other organizers can learn a lot from these guys. Just a pity about the wiiiiiind. And that mud bath in the beginning, I got mud in places I didn't even know my bike had places.

The carbon bikes range from about R15k to over R100k for the top of the range, just depends on groupset, wheelset etc. Can also do a bike with an aluminium frame or an aluminium/carbon mix frame even which would be cheaper of course.

Business is business and if it states no refunds then thats how it is. If you had a problem with that then you should have taken it up much earlier before you made payment. It seems you had your own obstacles but JB was also accomodating to these and tried to help you out too. You lost R500 and bearing in mind that he did try to juggle things around then that would be his payment for his time. No? He has helped me out on two occasions when bike shops made an abortion of my gears and ripped me off, and he sorted them out at a fraction of the price. So from my experience, and I'm sure many others here, he is more than fair.

Good question, but which 94.7 seeing as the route is always changing? I don't even know if the route is changing again this year. It's definitely not Joburgs toughest race anymore in my opinion...

If you keep to the extreme left you can avoid some of them too.
