Please don't hesitate to contact me with any queries, full specs are also available on the website: www.ciclimoser.com I have brought in three 666's already and its what I ride too so if you want to get an idea of the quality you are more than welcome to see mine. All bikes are brand new and carry warranties accordingly. Constructive feedback is most welcome. These bikes are being offered to all the agents in their respective countries, so first come, first served. I may be able to reduce the prices slightly if we order more than one because of transport costs. You can call me on my cell if you need: 082 8998 304 E&OE
  2. I'd rather go second hand. Much better value for that price range.
  3. I can get you the top of the range Moser 001 frame custom built for you in Italy for that price. http://www.ciclimoser.com/articolo/?ID=1

    Rugby...

Are they sponsored by Foschini now?
  5. In terms of which is better I suppose it depends how you define better and what you expect from the trainer? Some trainers are noisier than others and I dont know the Elite range myself, i use the cycleops super magneto pro which I'm verry happy with. I would check one out locally first before I bought offline. Also work out exactly what it will cost you to land the trainer here after VAT, duties etc. although trainers are duty free if I'm not mistaken. A lot of the guys here use CRC without any issues, you can search for their name and plenty threads will pop up. I did notice that they've exaggerated the suggested retail prices of some of the trainers, some of them you will get cheaper here. Some local agents won't honor warranties of goods ordered from CRC, apparently the Tacx agents are one. So basically just know what you're ordering and how much it will cost you before you order and weigh up if it's really worth it. Indoor training can be boring as hell so don't go spend a fortune till you've tried one out. In term of accessories you should use a hr monitor and whatever entertainment possible I suppose. Good luck!
  6. You're braver than I am.
  7. Don't know which customers you've been serving...
  8. Managers are there to set an example to staff and solve problems, doesn't sound like he did either. If they don't want cyclists or bicycles in their restaurant then they should rather say so, instead of taking their money and giving attitude in return. Whatever happened to accommodating your customers? Instead we have to beg people for decent service these days.
  9. Fulcrum, any day.
  10. Ha ha! There's a sucker born every minute apparently...
  11. If a local reseller can't price their goods to retail at a competitive price to overseas then they deserve to be in a position where people are buying grey. Sorry. Agents don't pay retail, they buy ex works and that discounted price should be enough to compensate for duties and transport etc. and to retail at a competitive price, and if not then they need to negotiate better terms with the exporter.
  12. Entrants should be seeded according to IQ as well apparently.
  13. Watching that actually made me feel sick. Personally, I don't understand how the vets and ladies can race together and be mixed into one massive bunch sprint at the end. That bunch was way too big and was a disaster waiting to happen. And it unfortunately did. Hope all involved recover quickly.
  14. Excuse the ignorance but how do you get points for races? I didn't know that.
  15. R1000 for FedEx shipping for a bike? Yeah right...

  17. Good choice. Enjoy it.
  18. Very nice! All the best with it.
  19. If you can get that here for 28 pounds it's an absolute steal. For a complete bike you're looking at about R8k all incl. so I also would have thought about R3k. Doesn't matter that it's light, the box is pretty big so you pay volumetric weight anyway and the freight companies and airlines charge you a minimum fee which makes small orders expensive. FedEx and DHL are not cheap at all for these type of shipments.
  20. HIt the nail on the head.
  21. Deleted
  22. If you'll look at a Moser let me know, I can bring you in a 111 full carbon with Ultegra or Athena for that price. WIth Fulcrum wheels. I've already brought in 2 from Italy over the last few weeks and they're fantastic.
  23. It doesn't work on some browsers apparently, try with Internet Explorer.
  24. Log on to cyclelab, online entries, road events and near the top you'll see an option where it says 'click here to see which races I've entered' and then click on the event.
