  1. It's big ... like a spary and cook can. You get smaller versions at bike shops however
  2. What he said It works better in tubed tires than in a tubeless setup.
  3. J antie jy kan KLIM hoor .... I are impressed.
  4. Yeah, carry on missing the point of constructive criticism. And yeah, laughing about going OTB twice in one ride is probably not 'hard' enough. Maybe I should've broken a collarbone in the half then gone and done the marathon on a unicycle.
  5. Nice show of character.
  6. Results: http://www.spectrumsport.co.za/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=jCi_Slx2Pv0%3d&tabid=3459&portalid=17&mid=8547
  7. Of course it's called Mountain biking. It's however neither called orienteering nor mowing the ******* lawn.
  8. Tough day out, had a severe puncture on my front wheel, had two OTB dismounts lol. I did not like this track - the first climb was such that even the B batchers were walking it, with no space to pass. And seriously, kilometer after kilometer on effing grass? No thanks. I am dissapoint.
  9. What's with the golf bats?
  10. They're damn fast, good wearing (done around 3800km on them and only now time to swop front and back to get even wear, guessing 7000km easy) nice grip on the road etc. They're not awesome offroad, they're slippery as hell, and prone to punctures. But yah, on the road they're great (especially at Skelomons' special of R150 each) I run them with tubes and slime.
  11. I've got a commuting set (rims that came with the bike plus bontrager CR1's) and a trail / race set (Bontrager Lite rims and Maxxis Crossmark tires) Works well for me
  12. Hey, isn't that the same day as the Crater Cruise?
  13. It adjusts on the cleat (the part on your shoe) actually The cleat has circles/dots on it - if the cleat with two dots is on your right shoe they will release at around 15 degrees, if it's on the left shoe they will release at 20 degrees. Ie turn your foot more or less The springs auto adjust the tension so you can't set them like a Shimano SPD.
  14. I got cleats two days before the Curro race - not as bad as I thought. make sure they're loose (yes you can adjust candy's) and then practice practice practice. A neat trick to get used to before the race is to NOT clip in just as you start, use the middle part of your foot to get going and then clip in once you're rolling forward. Good luck!
  15. I also schmaak those socks. Red makes you faster! Graspolle? Ag nee demmit my aching back I bloody hate those things, I took an 11 meter winger rock climbing some 15 years ago and my back still hurts when I do crap like ride over graspolle.
  16. Water bottles maybe? Shirts at first one, then buffs, then socks. Yup.
  17. Lol ... now that's a dilemma! Sometimes I'm glad my wife doesn't participate
  18. Just received seeding mail - I'm in C
  19. Nope. Probably tomorrow.
  20. Yeah they loved it The trick though is to go slooooooowwww .... otherwise baby goes a little nuts. If you go slow enough they giggle over every bump Next time I'm fitting the GoPro inside that thing.
