  1. It's going to work for lunch [emoji14] Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  2. All done on the weber, after I discovered that the AGA was cold. The best mutton cut, shoulder, done until you can pull the scapula out, then the connective tissue is tender, and the outside is lekker crispy. Mixed veg, and beetroot with feta. Was delicious. 3. Geez thread necro
  4. It's on again.
  5. Cooked up a rump steak for the wife, sprog and myself tonight. On gas, mine rare, rest med/rare. All those juices that collect on resting get chucked on mine. It was delicious. I could have lit a fire, but for one steak it's too much hassle. The secret is the resting, in the AGA bottom shelf, which maxes at 75deg, for 5-10 min.
  6. I use my Weber for roasting mutton roasts and chickens on the rotisserie, or to do a smoked fillet, which is amazing. The weber gives the meat a lekker smoky flavour, so much better than the oven.

  9. i wonder if Farmer Glen would repurpose his floating bridge for a day after Sani, looks like fun, if a bit dangerous. http://stabmag.com/stabcinema/dock-surfing-volcom-noa-deane-ozzie-wright/ https://vimeo.com/225408543

  12. No Radio2000 commentary, so I found this, be warned, these commentators aren't afraid of swearing https://beta.tunein.com/radio/Guerilla-Cricket-s225655/
  13. This oke is hilarious, I love it. Are you sick ill Fanie, not riding tonight? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ixFHbwtM44
  14. MY BIKES TAKEN ME NOWHERE. This bloody machine has been keeping me busy 9 hours a day, so I've been finished by the end of the day, and I had to rest over the weekend, as my legs were klaar. On a positive note, I dropped 5kg last week and my leg strength has increased. Oh well, 2 more weeks to go. Then I'll have enough timber to repair building and roofs around the farm. And I should be lighter and stronger on the bike???? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  15. Geez keen Fanie, thought the little one would keep you busy ???????? I'm deffo in
  16. The reservoir is dry, my herdsman never pumped, otherwise not so bad
  17. I took this photo on Monday, a vervet must have climbed into the reservoir and couldn't get out. I've put an iron pipe in there now
  18. Did a chilled ride from Nice'na (my daughter wanted to know how to spell it, so I told her Nice'na) to Garden Route Trail Park on Sat, and when I got there found that the GR300 was happening, so it was on and off the bike all the way around. It was lekker cheering the okes on as I sat on my ass in the forest resting. No pictures were taken, as I was having so much fun. I wish we had rides like this at home,. Got into a bit of *** pumping the trail. When I got back, to the clubhouse, I phoned my wife to fetch me as I wasn't riding back to Knysna in 36deg, with a headwind.
  19. Sorry I missed this one, been wanting to ride that side for some time
  20. I'd love that belt on a single-speed, very cool
  21. Oh come on, we have a huge mtb community in East London, why, oh why are we being bypassed once again. I'm tired of our community being ignored. Movies, demo days, and so on.
  22. Tomtom Spark 3, I need a basic HR monitor and tracker, but I hate chest straps, so I picked this up a few weeks ago. I'm impressed, it performs flawlessly. And also the hemut , was on sale at Chainreaction. I've got a pinhead, so helmets are usually way too big for me, even small sizes (I buy kids sunnies), but these fit lekker
  23. Wavecrest Hotel on the top pic, great Wild Coast hospitality and a great spot for halfway coffee. We'll be cycling past there soon on the way to The Haven.
