  1. I hope they don't fax the cheque.... think 2 sec is worth a couple of cents... At least my designer was pleased....
  2. Oom is JCZA.... he is older and more respectable than me..... (not by much)
  3. Posted Today, 13:34 sometime, on 05 Oct 2016 - 12:15 PM, said: Fixed it for you
  4. You don't have to - everyone else will....
  5. That's ok - keep riding your road bike....
  6. And about the 5th time in a row for the same prologue - that's just BORING.....
  7. For casual riding the G-shock ones seem popular over extended periods - there was a European lad who wore them on every stage of the epic - he was fast on the flats and a traffic obstacle on anything that looked technical, but he survived wearing them for long periods. For enduro - perhaps something more protective - 661 or leatt or similar - not impossible to pedal with, and manageable if you are not in a hurry.
  8. I have been watching Mr Mins live fb feeds - interesting commentary on the day
  9. Anybody know where to watch this online?
  10. pinned.co.za has them
  11. just knock it through... There is definitely a way to assemble them incorrectly and then they don't tighten properly - got my partners bike back from a shop after replacing bars and they would not stay in properly for love or money - then put them back together properly and as good as new again - still running my originals after more than 2 years and several falls without issues after.more than 3000km of racing with them
  12. I know how... Eric's on home-barista sells a kit..
  13. I have asked the old man to take a picture - might take a few days - will post it.
  14. Yes - ebony and ivory - hand carved - LOCKED away for the next 30 years - inherited from my grandfather and stored at my dad's house - away from my chess playing kids. I think he got it during WW2 in Pakistan - the pieces are super intricate and quite big - king is about 100mm tall - actually quite difficult to play with they are so big, although the board is a standard sized board. Also have a few wooden travel box sets I bought in India 0 about 150 x 75 x 40 when closed - but the pieces are not wooden - think they are some sort of metal.
  15. Aha - sorry - no idea who can make it in CT - must be someone who makes pallets http://www.barose.co.za had the pictures on their site - maybe they will know - looks like they are CT based.
  16. That looks like sheving for pallet racking - look here http://www.articlesweb.org/blog/wp-content/gallery/information-about-pallet-racking-2/Pallet-Racking-3.jpg
  17. If he got his kit off in time then he did a good job and the training is working..... and he will grow out of using the garden - be patient... My wife is pulling her hair out about the dead spots in the grass.... don't have the heart to tell her it's from my 5y/o peeing on the lawn (she did tell him it was ok) ... so train yours to pee in the flowerbeds, not on the grass....
  18. It would be kind of hard for mine to multiply.... but lose what's left might be possible.... I still have to dare take my kids out on the road on their bikes.... they just have to make about 800m to the spruit and 800m back...
  19. First - confratulations Secondly - You cannot childproof EVERYTHING in your house - rather learn to teach the kids the meaning of the word NO - we managed to only lose 1 wine bottle in a rack of about 200 that is floorstanding.... after 2 kids... they KNOW they are not allowed to touch it, and now it has become a habit after 9 and 6 years respectively - this would probably have been easier to teach them by using some physical encouragement - but my wife is very against that model. My daughter did manage to pull a steel dining room chair over when she was starting to walk - clipped her mid forehead.... so needed some cosmetic work done - with luck it will be in her hairline when she is fully grown or very close to it, and my son has knocked a couple of teeth through his lower lip (twice) and those I have just put together myself. If I think about the damage we did to ourselves as kids, I think my kids are pretty injury free so far.... So - advice - childproof the things that can kill.... tall freestanding bookracks/cupboards and electrical plugs (check that the finger blocks work) - and the top of stairs need gates, pools need nets etc - other than that you should be ok if you teach them right.
  20. Buy a grinder..... pre-ground coffee is dead for espresso.... DEAD.... You can get away with pre-ground in a filter machine... but you might as well drink instant.
  21. Someone needs to teach Wade not to wear "his" RM upside down- I kid you not.... look carefully at the pics of his race...
