  4. Actually - legally - in SA you do need to wear a helmet - but the manufacturer recommendation is that you do not need to wear one (guess because of the seatbelts and cage - and the extra load on the neck in the event of a frontal impact/whiplash.) That said - I don't wear one and have ridden past many many metro cops without issues so far. The only issue with using it as a commuter is that is it very wide - wider than a GS1200.... so not good for lane splitting.
  5. They have a following - got a list of people waiting in line. What I really want is the electric c1.. but none came in to SA as far as I have been able to find out.
  6. I have one in my garage... not for sale...
  7. What did you want him to say? "To be honest that's buttugly? ???? Butt its worse than that...
  8. Try Moreflavour.co.za https://moreflavour.co.za
  9. The overlap between low blood pressure and orthostatic hypotension is probably not well understood by the general public.... but the treatment of orthostatic hypotension is the only use of heptaminol I have seen, although its effectivity is questionable. It's not impossible that he could have been treated for post exercise hypotension with it - some people do seem to suffer from that regularly - and it mimics orthostatic hypotension quite nicely. Just speculation on my part.
  10. Your gluteus fatteus are not called legs....

  17. You need to ride your bikes more.... PM is probably more suited to a discussion
  18. There are several different ACME threads around - you need a real expert.... and that is NOT me. https://www.engineersedge.com/hardware/external_acme_thread_13360.htm https://www.amesweb.info/Screws/External-Acme-Thread-Dimensions-Table.aspx Are the 2 pages I saved when building a scissor table. Me - I would just toss it at a tool and die maker and tell him to fix it..... (luckily I have one as a mate - although it might take a year or two)
  19. Can you bodge it with a nut cut in half and an o ring as the spring?
  20. I know what happened..... your balls shrank......
  21. Some welding and machining should fix it if you cannot find a replacement.... any decent handiman should be able to do it with the right tools and some time.
  22. Its a good deal if its in reasonable shape - esp with 2 grinders - you wont regret it. Just a word of caution-.check with swmbo that she can live with the aesthetics of it - they use a lot of countertop women tend to regard as "theirs". And ito placement - the grinders probably wont fit under your kitchen cupboards so be sure to figure this out in advance.
  23. That is a good deal - pity it's in Hermanus
  24. Good luck finding a second hand one.... I would expect they will go for 50 - 60k if they are in OK condition - kind of an it depends.... BUT - nobody I know with one would consider selling it unless they are planning a massive upgrade or are emigrating. And if you do buy one, remember you have to buy a decent grinder as well - so it's not 80k... more like 110k odd.... without the grinder you will never make it deliver what it can do - grinder is everything in espresso..
