  1. Yes BUT... Rossi rides one as daily transport.... try it - you might like it.
  2. Watch the demo of the owner doing a real live demo with his finger.... damn impressive - as is the cost to fix the saw afterwards... but good value indeed compared to losing 1 or more fingers.
  3. He is a f..ing idiot.... and should not be teaching woodwork....
  4. I chatted briefly to 2bliss a week or so ago: Basic updates: 1 - Karmi - doing ok despite a greenstick fracture of her leg a few weeks ago 2 - Karlo - little brother (in utero) doing fine and gestationally older than Karmi at the same point - he will probably be delivered early due to some medical complications mom has. 3 - 2Bliss - struggling to get workable/livable meds sorted out. That's what I know.
  5. Let me know if you need it ridden down.. happy to help out.
  6. Speak to Devon 076 757 6037 - he has brought a bike from PE to Jhb for me - wasn't expensive - Bikes2go - he moves bikes between PE, CT and Jhb.
  7. If this is by whatsapp - the archive function is useful - just deal with it once a day in a lump - your head will thank you.
  8. Sorry mate - good luck with your treatment going forward.
  9. The world just lost one of the truely good guys - condolences to his family and his many friends
  10. It's OK - you have plenty of calf to spare...
  11. Congratulations though - it will be a good experience in about 10 years time.... 1 small handling tip when changing nappies - put the new nappie over the nether regions when changing boys..... else you will get wet sometime or another.... girls too, but if you are quick you are more likely to save yourself.... boys.... pfft... no chance... :)
  12. Looks good - the only issue might be your baby will quickly become to long/tall to change comfortably across the width - you will probably start using it lengthwise quite quickly - so plan it's location in the room to allow that as well.
  13. You can buy caffeine citrate from a pharmacy.... you should follow the package instructions. And STAY THE HELL OUT OF MY ER!!!
  14. Some specific antibiotics are associated with tendon issues... Quinolones... best avoided unless absolutely necessary - I am curious as to whether you were taking one - can you remember the specific antibiotic? .
  15. See I had the name wrong - one day I will give this a go... http://www.blackdragonforge.co.za/classes.asp
  16. dragonforge?
  17. Only during the week it comes on at 4am and off at 7am - that covers pre and post ride coffee normally - on weekends/evenings I just turn it on manually. I find myself making less coffee at home theses days than I used to - benefits of having a commercial machine at the office I suppose.
  18. I saw a nice looking new DB machine was announced - The Rocket R91 - seems to tick all the boxes - Dual boiler, rotary pump, saturated group head, and ......pressure profiling.... https://www.rocket-espresso.com/phone/r-nine-one.html
  19. I agree - if you are an espresso only drinker - but as soon as milk is involved, then a basic heat exchanger machine is a lot more versatile.... - the cycle of heating up, making espresso, heating up again, steaming, cooling down and starting again is way too much pain for me - and it's absolutely unusable as soon as you have more than 2 single capp's to make back to back. And not forgetting.... the grinder is more important than the machine.....
  20. Get the Sylvia before the breville - the Breville uses a thermobloc for heating - and while they say it will work, experience is that it is very temperature unstable and a b..h to use in real life (compared to even a sylvia, which without a PID is also a bit of a thermo nightmare - and still not the equal of a machine with a bigger boiler and heat exchanger - i never recommend a single boiler machine to anyone unless you are strictly an espresso only drinker... and have no friends...
  21. You will be too after you have tried working with it....
  22. They usually have the top burr on a threaded carrier - an it's only a question of removing the lock/stop, tightening the bur down till just off touching the lower burr, then replacing the lock/stop and reassembling the grinder.
  23. 2 things - 1 - you need fresh coffee - not more than 14 days post roast. Stale coffee contributes to fast draw times. 2 - you can probably recalibrate that grinde by stripping the top and resetting the burrs closer together - takes longer to explain than to do - think there are explanations on home-barista.com on how to set the zero point on small grinders - they are all fundametally the same internally.
  24. There are a couple of fb groups - be careful of gumtree and junkmail... many scammers... google visual search is a good tool for looking for ripped off pictures
  25. Good luck with this - you have a long road ahead, and many hubbers will be supporting you and sharing their experiences - reach out to them and you will get more value than you think possible. My only thoughts on treatment are: 1 - Go early and: 2 - Go big, and 3 - Do not economize on treatment - see (1 and 2) Broke and well is better than mostly broke and ill... As to training - there are only upsides if you do not overdo it - remember to rest and recover fully. Good luck
